As much as the chart run of “Fight”” is annoying, the song itself grew on me after I saw Carly’s stunning performance at live last week.
As for the next single, my hope was Heels Over Head, as that’s my fave among all the promotional singles, but given that it was removed from her setlist (it was a part of setlist back in the late 2023), I don’t think it’s happening anymore. She still sang Country Music Made Me Do It, so there’s a chance that we still get that one, and it’s a great song, but I think it may be a little too old. The other unreleased song that she performed was an uptempo one called Truck On Fire; uptempo song that I like, but could be polarizing on radio. The other two songs she released are not bad, but lacking energy for my liking, and I think she needs an up/mid tempo single.

I don't know if I really see "Fault Line" as a radio single, but it is a fun song overall.

I’m gonna just say it
Carly Pearce sounds best when she sounds like Patty Loveless

"Fault Line" is good. I like the twang, and think it's well written, but it's just not clicking with me.
I haven't been completely wowed by anything on the album. I enjoy the lead single, my place, and hummingbird, but none of them hit it out of that park for me like the majority of Written in Stone did.

“Fault line” is the best song from the new record (at least that has come out). It’s definitely OK.

I wonder since fault line has its own single cover (like country music made me do it and heels over head) that it might be in the running to be the next single? my place and hummingbird have the normal album cover as their covers. Just a thought.

Just a thought. Sincerely hope fault line could be the next single. I just don't understand with so many other interesting choices, why they choose We Don't Fight Anymore, such a cliche as a single?Just because Chris Stapelton is on it? Or they don't wanna risk.

Honestly, I don't think anything they've released from the album so far is strong enough to be a single. She's been doing "Truck on Fire" at her live shows and it kind of gives me a bit of a Carrie Underwood type vibe. It's not my favorite thing she's done, but I think it could work on radio, need to hear the studio version to know for sure.

Personally "My Place" is my favorite song from the album so far so even though it isn't the most radio friendly I wouldn't mind if it was released.

I'm sure they're just trying to hold onto this for a few more weeks till the album drops, but they really need to pull the plug and just try something else already, preferably something fresh with some tempo to it.

It baffles me how hard her team has seemingly dropped the ball after the success of her last era. They have had months to evaluate the situation here and imo this song has not helped her momentum or given any hype to upcoming album. I hope she has something good for the next single. It needs to be next level.

Listed as "coming soon" as a Co-Host for CCUSA. Probably will be the week her album drops as that is the next available slot. Curious if they choose to max it then or if they try to keep chugging along. I think all possibilities for this hitting #1 are out the window given how weak it has been recently, and on top of that the massive songs that have passed it that will occupy the top for sometime (I Had Some Help, Dirt Cheap, Cowgirls.)
I say max this and see if they can get it top 10 on BB (already achieved it on MB, but has been bumped down to #14), and move on. This one worked okay, but they should try to bring the tempo back with the summer months warming up. Not sure what they should choose as nothing from the album so far has connected in any big way to put her back on the radar with country radio. Maybe try "Truck on Fire" as it is the only thing I've heard so far that sounds like it could work. Here's a video of it from her live shows.

I do understand why they are holding onto this until the album comes out as nothing released before the album has connected well at all, like none of them, whether it's "Hummingbird", "My Place", or "Fault Line". Sad this is dying out in the Top 15/10 but hopefully whatever is released next to radio does well for her.

I would probably wait to go with My Place till after that so Your Place is out of mind, Guessing they will push this into the top 10 on both charts and then call it. Ironically, if that happens this will be Carly’s first top-10 that didn’t go to number 1. Her songs either stall in the 11-15 range, or go to number one, with just one exception
