The Band Perry's "Better Dig Two" finished up an impressive showing by winning its 3rd straight poll last week, pulling in 12 votes and narrowly topping the 11 received by Kelly Clarkson's "Don't Rush". After the 3rd week, though, TBP is retired. And now...the last weekly challenge of the 2012 year! This week will feature new songs from Carrie Underwood, Lee Brice, and Big & Rich. Beginning next week, we'll start the year-end challenge with round 1 of the voting. I know we still have a few songs with December 17th adds dates, but I'm planning to put those in the first new poll in January, so that each Monday of December can be used for the year-end challenges. So, no songs from last week move on, as TBP's "Better Dig Two" is retired. This week, we have 3 new songs, with either adds dates of today (11/26) or next Monday (12/3). You get just 1 vote!1. I feel like this is one of those weeks where just based on the people posting, you know who they voted for without them having to say, haha.
(I haven't voted yet. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to Lee's song in full just yet.)

There had to be at least a dozen people who considered voting for Big & Rich -- I know I did. You don't usually get as big a gap between top song and bottom song, at least with a pool of only 3 songs, as you have this week.
But I had to vote for Lee just in case somehow he can contend. Good song.

And, that's a wrap! I'm working on the first round of the year-end challenge and will have that up shortly. Carrie's "Two Black Cadillacs" obviously clobbered the competition this week, so she'll be in the year-end challenge. However, she'll also get the chance to continue on in 2013.
"Two Black Cadillacs", along with the songs going for adds on December 17th, will make up the first poll in January, after the year-end challenge is done.
