He got to like top 70 with Grace Kelly! LOL, and Love Today made it to like 101, I remember tracking it! Jeez Derek, I think Mika made this vid just for YOU! How hard are you right now? ;) He's naked in like the whole thing. Sorry Der but I don't like this song. :( I'm sure he has way better stuff on the album though!!!

Eh. Up to now I've either loved or hated everything he's put out. This is his first song that I've not had a strong reaction to on first listen. The instrumental and production are great, but his vocal performance and the lyrics are poor. How shit is this song? His vocal performance is just dreadful. The way he mangles the word 'geowl-dun' is just teeth-grindingly painful and the lyrics are appalling. Also, the video is one of the worst I've ever seen.

I've only heard the song and seen the video a couple of times - it's definitely not as catchy as his past stuff, but not everything has to be easily digestible pop music.
I see him losing some of his mainstream appeal but solidifying a core fan base over time.

I've finally heard this, and, I'm surprised to say, it sounds pretty good. Yes, the video is horrid and embarrassing, but the song itself seems catchy, poppy, and worth it. On the other hand, it's late on Labor Day, so that could very well be influencing my opinion... I'll see what I think during straighter times.
