After coming off the super-smash that 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' is/was, how will Kelly Clarkson's next single, 'Dark Side' do commercially in the US (including all remixes) ?
Per usual, please vote and state your answer and reasons for it if you don't mind. Thanks !

I think the longevity will be insane, even if it doesn't blow up immediately like "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)". I'm going to say 3 - 3.5 million.

2 - 2.5 million. I'd love to see it pushing 3 million, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

1.5-2 Million, i.e. just a little more than Already Gone.

1 - 1.5 million... maybe a higher, but I'm doubting this will see 2 million.
'Stronger' should hit 3 million eventually, and I think it's safe to say this won't sell as much as that. I can see this selling around the same amount as 'Mr. Know It All'.

I'll say 2 million - 2.5 million for now. It's way too early to predict.

If "Mr. Know It All" can push nearly 1.5 million, I think "Dark Side" can push a bit more. I'm saying 2.0-2.5 million, but this is so preliminary that it probably means nothing. Radio could refuse it and it could only sell 500,000 copies. Radio could eat it up and it could sell 4 million. I really don't have anything to go off of other than Kelly's history and the song itself, and we've seen how that has been easily proven wrong before.

I see this song selling ~ 1 million-ish and being a moderate hit on radio or selling 3-4 million and being a huge smash on radio, but nothing in between. Of course, I hope that I am wrong and hope for the latter scenario.

At least 1.5-2 million. Maybe more if radio turns it into a huge hit.

Just because a song is huge doesn't guarantee the next single will be. Look at TTWE/IWG and Criminal. I can see this pulling that. I hope I'm wrong though because I love 'Dark Side'. I think 'You Love Me' would have been a much better follow up.

Besides, Stronger was bigger than TTWE and IWG.

I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see DS becoming a huge hit it doesn't sound like anything that's on the radio. And the chorus to YLM is fucking perfect.

Just because a song is huge doesn't guarantee the next single will be. Look at TTWE/IWG and Criminal. I agree that Dark Side will be her IWG ;) (and DS will be bigger too ) But seriously, I do get your point. But my opinion is that Dark Side is good enough to become a big hit on its own even without Stronger's success. The fact that Stronger is such a monster only makes DS's chance to turn into a huge hit even bigger.
