The 2 for 1 play of "Wake Up Call" would, in my opinion, have been better placed after "Moves Like Jagger". It is the Maroon 5, after all.

Funny how "Sorry For Party Rocking", something of a sequel to "Party Rock Anthem", is now below its parent record. I guess many stations only had room for one LMFAO party rocker at a time.

All 3 droppers are less than 20 weeks, so the chart seems even more stale than usual. Ryan revealed right at the start that the whole top 10 was on the move and that we have a new number one song, Good Feeling by Flo Rida. Just kidding about the last part. He said that somebody now has 30 top forty hits, surpassing the 29 of both Whitney and Britney, which rhymes. Looking at the charts, she started the year with 3 on there:
We Found Love, Fly, and You Da One. Now 3 more this year with Take Care, Princess of China, and Talk That Talk. And all of it since "05 makes it even the more impressive!

I listened to part of the show this weekend since it was April Fool's. Learned no facts. I wish there'd be more facts about the artists/songs and less irrelevent gossip/American Idol promotion. He also played a clig of "Dance Again" to push Idol & JLo.

I don't think logic is the right explanation for anything to do with statistics presented on American Top 40.

I don't think he forgot them. You missed the fine print (I underlined it). I don't believe there was a second boy band charting, concurrently, with Big Time Rush.

On 2/12/12 and the two weeks following, "Music Sounds Better With U" and "Glad You Came" were both on the chart.
