[/li][li] For a change of pace, he kicked off the show by playing last week's number one.  Because the one thing we need is for that song to get more spins so that it can stay on top longer.  Well, at least they didn't bring back AT40 Focus...
[/li][li] Oddly enough, the web site erroneously has Sugababes debuting at #40 last week.  What are the odds?
[/li][li] "Why Can't I?" was played to tie into the segment where he talks about what's in movie theatres this weekend.  WCI is featured in the Jennifer Garner film 13 Going On 30.
[/li][li] I noticed that Ryan made reference to several old (and some might be called obscure) hits of the past during the show.  When he introduced Sarah Connor, he mentioned that the last German solo female to hit the chart was Billie Ray Martin (in 1996 with "Your Loving Arms").  Before Three Days Grace he said that the last "hate" song to chart was Puddle Of Mudd's "She Hates Me".  After playing "Numb" he said that it was "...not to be confused with U2's hit "Numb" from 1993."  I kinda like how the AT40 staff seems to be doing, at least, a little chart research.

WHAT??? He let "Usher" stay at number one for an additional week? OK, that's just wrong. Someone at Premiere is going to get a swirly.
