Pretty much this is now an irrelevant countdown. The R&R chart is much better. It's been irrelevent since he took over. In all fairness, all current CHR radio countdowns have irrelevent charts, since Dees hired KIIS afternoon guy as the show's producer this January. I guess, it's too much work to use every CHR station in the nation for a weekly countdown show or at least the Top 100 markets. |

DHT or Natasha Bedingfield havent debuted yet? Natasha Bedingfield did debut this week, at #37. DHT is at number 36 (on the corresponding R&R chart), so it makes sense that it hasn't yet debuted on AT40. With all the recurrents, it's unusual for a song not above #35 on R&R to debut on AT40. I predict that Avril Lavigne and DHT will debut on AT40 next week, although the latter might not debut until the week after. I guess it all depends on how those songs do on the June 17 R&R chart, which I have not yet looked at. |
