Oh this is bullshit, you mean to tell me JT gets 2 more weeks at #1 here than it did on R&R/ Mediabase and "Far Away" gets a #2 peak? Screw this countdown. I don't know if Hinder will jump to #1 next week or not but for Nickelback not to reach #1 on here would be a fucking joke, not that AT40 hasn't become that already.

BRING BACK CASEY KASEM. HE IS THE ONLY HOPE FOR THIS F*****G SHOW. Sorry but Ryan's show is JUNK, it's not funny. This isn't really the right way to do this show. WE NEED CASEY AND HIS WAY OF DOING THINGS. CASEY IS DA BEST  SORRY RYAN DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SHOW. I WILL STICK WITH CASEY. Casey come back and use Mediabase 24 7. Hell any show with casey is better than Ryan. Thank god he stopped saying, "Seacrest Out," that was agravating. |

I heard it on my station.
He was like "Okay we're now into hour 3 of the show".
Uhm, 3 hours for 10 songs? Could be longer.
But there was a lot of extras.
I'm thinking if he can do that much time for a top 10,
why not go back to AT40?

Guess Cerebro didn't listen to it this time around lol, can't blame him who wants to hear Sexyback unfairly reign again over the real #1 to everyone else in the world that week Nickelback! I think despite a smaller audience than Sexyback, Far Away even went #1 on Billboard charts. Wow really sucks they got jipped out of #1 on AT40, NO other chart has Sexyback as 7 weeks..kinda makes AT40 look bad... aren't they suppose to be in the studio next week lol? Thought I heard him say that. I thought for certain Nickelback had it when last week he said 'Justin better watch out, this group next at #2 eats #1's for breakfast'. This is so retarded lol. I have great love for Casey Kasem, you know, at the same time he would not fit the CHR target audience. Perhaps Shadoe Stevens should be called upon again to do this, but certainly not Casey (this time). I would like someone to use the Mediabase charts vs. the radio station that carry AT40, really. The rest of the country is getting a pretty good idea of what the popular song in the US is, after all it's in USA Today just about every Tuesday. And yes Casey Kasem uses that data for AT20.

You see, AT40 can't seem to make up its mind what chart to be closest to (or something like that), because last week, the chart resembled the 10/20 chart (except for a few songs clearly being out of place). This week's AT40 also resembles that chart (although that is still no excuse for Nickelback to not yet be at #1 this week). So, unless they skip the 10/27 chart entirely next week, Nickelback should grab the top spot.
I agree; "Sexyback" is done! I hope it takes a big fall from #1 next week (and that's entirely possible, what with all the airplay "My Love" is receiving.
Also: Here's to hoping that "Hips Don't Lie" falls off the damn chart next week. The song has been on long enough!

Lets solve this once and for all. Casey created AT40 Pop there fore Casey should host it, not some guy who doesn't know what the hell he's doing.
If Casey won't host a CHR/POP show, fire Ryan and have Casey host the AT40 Hot AC show? This way you would get rid of AT20 Hot AC.
I would like it better if AT10 was a top 20 chart again, because you keep on hearing the same songs over and over again. But Casey is doing great with AT10, I have enjoyed it better that AT20.
When Shadoe took over for Casey, his AT40 wasn't that popular, although Shadoe is 10,0000,00000 times better than Ryan, thanks but no thanks to Shadoe.
Casey come do a HOT AC Top 40 show PLEASE, don't make us listen to the bad AT40. CASEY CREATED IT, HE SHOULD HOST IT, PERIOD.

Yah sometimes it matches Mediabase very well, other times it doesn't, AT40's affiliates are less than what Mediabase reports right, or is it more? It will be very interesting to see what he does next week as 'What Hurts The Most' rose up alot and 'Hip's Don't Lie' rose in spins above Ridin and Savin Me. So he's either gonna drop all 3 recurrents from Shakira, Chammillionare and Nickelback or Shakira might stay solid and the rest drop. Eitherway next week is gonna have a heck of a lot less recurrents..making it better for the charts consistancy and will match up better to Mediabase. Over My Head (Cable Car) and Move Along could have one of the longest reigns on the chart this year.. Could be very possible for AT40 to put Nickelback #1 next week as the update for it Hinder wasn't #1 by alot and Nickelback kept pretty up there at #2. But if that happens its gonna be like AT40 is 3 weeks behind |
