I don't like George Lopez... his voice is funny and cares about the chart even LESS than Ryan. Never heard of him prior to this.

Not going to post the chart again this week but I might do some commentary once my broadcast finishes (up to #8 now).

GREAT to see Airplanes #1! As much as I hate these Mediabase deviations, it is such a good song, much better than those California Gurls!

Great to see Ke$ha pushed down and Gaga rebound! Awesome rise from Mike, love Shontelle too.

I like "Airplanes". I'm kind of glad it managed to get to #1 somewhere. And, unlike "OMG" (which I'm still shaking my head at), this song actually has a legitimate argument for being an "alternate" #1. First, it was almost there, spinwise. A couple weeks back, it was within 100 spins from the top. AT40's different reporting panel and whatnot could've been enough to make up that difference. Second, had the chart been ranked by audience impressions instead of spins (a la the defunct Billboard Pop 100 Airplay), "Airplanes" would've spent two weeks at #1.

Now, if the chart could only get back on schedule...Seriously, Ryan's vacations always seem to slow things down (no doubt, due to the shift in the production schedule). Hopefully, we'll see some serious catching up next week when he returns.

No, I wouldn't expect them to go that far. Next week's chart would have to be "similar" to the Sunday 7/4 Mediabase chart to be considered "on schedule" (right now, it's a good week behind where it should be). Given that, a #20ish debut for "Dynamite" and a mid-20s debut for "Love The Way You Lie" wouldn't be out of the question. Some sizable climbs (Drake, Enrique, David Guetta, Paramore) and drops (Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Kevin Rudolf, Tim/Katy) would be expected to make up the gap.
