It looks like Star 94.1 in San Diego dropped AT20 in favor of AT40 Hot AC with Ryan Seacrest. What's even more bizarre is that the pop version of AT40 is still on Channel 933 in that same market, also on Sunday mornings!!! It looks like Ryan is competing against himself on two different stations in San Diego with the two versions of AT40. Go figure!!!

I haven't listened to the show yet... but it's interesting to see that 2 of the optional extras are songs that haven't yet made the top 20!

Has Casey ever done this before, playing a song that was hovering below the chart as an extra? (On his current shows; I know there are optional extras on the 80's AT40 reruns introduced by Ed McMann, some of which were about to make the top 40 on the week from which the show was originally broadcast)

Casey actually did this a few times toward the end of 2007. It happens on occasion, and when it does it's usually 2 or 3 within one show, and then doesn't happen again for months.

And, that sucks about Star 94.1 in San Diego. Way too many stations have dropped Casey in favor of Ryan or Randy Jackson.

I noticed that too. I wasn't sure at first if these hits made the Top 20.

I like it when he plays those kinds of "bubbling under" hits. At least they get a little bit of exposure.

At least 'Casey's Top 20' has returned to the airwaves @ KBIG/LA, even at the same asinine time period---7 AM on Sundays.

Yes, the return of AT20 on KBIG is a very good thing for the show. I wonder if it was listener demand that brought the show.
