Dear Casey,
On a Saturday night in the spring of 1993, I called a Los Angeles radio station to request a love song for my boyfriend Shane. We had met as penpals, and he was on the road from Arizona to see me. It was such a spontaneous trip. I knew something was up. That evening, Shane got down on one knee and proposed to me underneath a street lamp at a park bench in the pouring rain. It was absolutely perfect. We were married 6 months later. Sadly our union did not last, but deep down we never stopped loving & caring about each other. Neither of us ever remarried. Though our contact was sporadic, we continued to check on each other, and recently I hadn't heard from Shane for a few months. So, I decided to call. His phone numbers didn't work. I learned just a few weeks ago that Shane had passed away on December 19th. He was in poor health. He was just 39 years old. As a small tribute to the memory of Shane, would you please play "I Will Remember You"? My heart is broken, but I'm so grateful that I was able to say everything I needed to say to Shane in the years since our marriage; everything but "Goodbye". Thank you Casey.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

Now, she is dating Ottawa Senators center Mike Fisher & often travels to Canada to watch him play. She attended a game on her 26th birthday where "Mike scored the winning goal. He said it was his birthday present for me."
°(Spotlight from 2008) It's Growing - James Taylor; was a #3 R&B hit for The Temptations in 1965.

°(Spotlight from 1988) Red Red Wine - UB40; group had previously hit with this same song in 1984, but it was the 1988 version that went to #1. Tune was originally a minor hit for Neil Diamond in 1968.

In the 15 episodes, Bruce Parry spends time with primitive tribes in places like Brazil, New Guinea, Borneo, and India. "I've got copies of all 15 shows. I watch them again and again. Bruce Parry teaches us new ways to relate to others. I behave differently because of his shows. I no longer try to put up a wall between me and others. I don't judge others. His shows taught me humility. They changed my life, and they gave my music more meaning."
