Hello Casey,
I'm a dispatcher for a limo company in Brooklyn, and I listen to your countdown at work every Sunday. But today, I'd like to reach out over the radio to a young lady that I met in 2002 while I was a senior in high school. This was the first girl I have ever fallen for so much, so deeply. She had a little daughter, and we went together for over 6 years. At one point, the three of us even lived together. As young lovers, we made a lot of mistakes. Most of them, we overcame. But the biggest one, came from me. During our time apart, I got married to another woman instead of my true love Lil' Miss. She doesn't know why I did it, but it's not what she's thinking & I've never once had the chance to explain. Even if we never get back together (much less talk), I just want Lil' Miss & her daughter to know that I will always love them deeply with all my heart. There hasn't been one day (not even a moment) that I don't think about them. Casey, could you please play "White Flag" as my dedication? And Lil' Miss (though I've hurt you so deeply): if I could have one wish come true, it would be to be with you. Sorry.
Love Always,
Pelpa

°(From 1976) I'd Really Love to See You Tonight - England Dan & John Ford Coley; Dan Seals was born in McCamey, Texas. His father was an amateur Country singer. Older brother Eddie was a member of The Champs whose best known for the song "Tequila". Other brother Jim became part of Seals and Crofts. Dan along with John Ford Coley would hit such songs as "Nights Are Forever Without You" and "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight". The later is thought to be the most played song on radio in the 70's. Dan went solo in 1980, and eventually had 11 #1's on the Country Chart. In 2006, he was diagnosed with Cancer that eventually ended his life at age 61.
