Dear Casey,
My story is not unique. It's being played out in homes all over the country. After 12 years working for the same company at a job I love, I've been laid off. It didn't come as a big shock. I was kind of expecting it. And while I'm going to miss the job & the paycheck, mostly I will miss the people I work with. They've been my family: the people I spend 40 hours or more with. The people I laugh with, cried with, and had a beer with on a Friday night. I don't think I realized how much my co-workers meant to me until I was told my employment was over. I know I'll make it through these hard times. I have the support of my wife & children. We'll make sacrifices & do what we have to do to survive. But, it's going to take a long time till I find another group of people like the ones I've worked with for so many years. So Casey, could you please dedicate "Someday" to my many co-workers? Friends I'd love to work with again someday.
Paul

Story is about "working-class heroes trapped in a world full of frustration." Play will use all the songs from the album plus new material. Premiere is set for September in Berkeley, California.
