HAVE YOURSELF A VERY BUBLÉ CHRISTMAS Michael Bublé has a special holiday gift for his naughty and nice fans this year. On October 24th, the multi Grammy Award winning Canadian will be releasing his new album called CHRISTMAS. PRE-ORDER the limited fan edition which includes: "Christmas" on CD, 3 bonus tracks, plus an exclusive ornament tucked inside extended album packaging. Get more details here. CHRISTMAS follows the Grammy Award winning artist’s previous album “Crazy Love” which sold over seven million copies worldwide and was certified multi-platinum in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Commented Bublé, “Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year for me and my family so naturally it’s been a dream of mine to make the ‘ultimate’ Christmas record. Even though it was summer and 95 degrees in LA we totally got into the spirit of the holiday. Of course we decorated the studio with Christmas lights in the middle of July and that was a big help. One more thing, my mother told me it’s the best record I ever made.” CHRISTMAS, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, was recorded primarily at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. The CD includes guest performances by Shania Twain on ”White Christmas” and The Puppini Sisters on “Jingle Bells.” Bublé also put his unique take on such classics as “Silent Night,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” and “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” In addition, a Bublé original “Cold December Night” will be included on CHRISTMAS. In conjunction with the release of 'CHRISTMAS,' Bublé will star in an NBC Holiday Special and is also scheduled to appear on 60 Minutes, the NBC Christmas Tree Lighting (November 30th) and Saturday Night Live (December 17th). I like the album cover. Are there any other big Christmas albums coming out this year other than this one?

Michael Buble Reveals Track List for "Christmas" AlbumMichael Buble has said that his upcoming holiday album, simply titled Christmas, would be made up of classic Christmas standards and perhaps an original song. Now he's revealed the full track listing for the disc, and it's basically a collection of the best-loved holiday tunes ever -- from Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" to Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas" -- plus a Buble original called "Cold December Night."
The guests on the record include Shania Twain, on a version of "White Christmas," Latina singer Thalia on "Feliz Navidad," and the Puppini Sisters -- a British/Italian female trio that sounds like the Andrews Sisters -- on "Jingle Bells."
Here's the full track listing for Christmas:
1. "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" 2. "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" 3. "Jingle Bells" featuring The Puppini Sisters 4. "White Christmas" duet with Shania Twain 5. "All I Want for Christmas Is You" 6. "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" 7. "Santa Buddy" (aka "Santa Baby") 8. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" 9. "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" 10. "Silent Night" 11. "Blue Christmas" 12. "Cold December Night" 13. "I'll Be Home for Christmas" 14. "Ava Maria" 15. "Mis Deseos/Feliz Navidad" duet with Thalia
The Special Edition version of the album adds the bonus tracks "Winter Wonderland," "Frosty the Snowman" and "Silver Bells." Michael will support the release with a 60 Minutes profile, a December 17 appearance on Saturday Night Live, a performance at NBC's annual Christmas Tree Lighting on November 30, and his own NBC variety special, which will air in early December.abcnewsradioonline.com/music-news/2011/9/21/michael-buble-reveals-track-list-for-christmas-album.html

I love his take on AIWFCIY, dark and melancholy. And of course, Shania sounds amazing in the duet.

^I like the songs...but I wish it was less orchestral and had more big band elements (for example, like the intro in "Cry Me A River"). Oh well.
Also, am I the only one who doesn't recognize Shania Twain's voice in the "White Christmas" preview video at all? ???
Anyway, here's "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas:"

Also, am I the only one who doesn't recognize Shania Twain's voice in the "White Christmas" preview video at all? People have been talkin' about that; I don't really, either. Sounds rather weird.
