It's certainly nice to hear new material from Neal. Blake and Miranda sound great, too. Not sure if this will chart, but for Neal's sake, I hope so.

Nice to see Brett getting some cuts out there. And also nice to see Ran and Blake doing background vocals.

I was wondering where he went. I just listened to his Greatest Hits the other day, hadn't heard it since I was a teen in the 90s. He is one of the best club acts I've ever seen. I would love to see him have another streak of hits again, but radio isn't the same as it was back when he was having top 10s, so I'm not holding my breath. This song is classic sounding Neal tho! My favorite song of his is "Hillbilly Rap", thats the original Country rap song, not "Dirt Road Anthem" lol!

I'm diggin' it. I think it has the possibility to do well on radio if it ever charts. Edit: I can't stop listening to it

I'm not sure of the promotion $$ behind this, but with Miranda and Blake behind the project it at least has a chance. It's quite catchy to boot, so I could see this being a surprise hit if given a chance. Radio was willing to play Beer Goggles from a similarly small label a few years back, let's hope they're hospitable one more time.

Neal McCoy... absolutely the best PERFORMER in the entire country music industry.
Aside from that, this song is catchy as hell. Would LOVE nothing more than to see Neal get back on country radio with this song.

I love EVERY TIME Neal comes back. I really enjoyed "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On". Catchy song.
And with Blake and Miranda in the background, I think this one will have a chance at being a hit. Though, it's kinda sad that a well-established artist (yes, from years ago) needs the help of 2 of today's hottest stars to try to make a comeback. Oh well, I'll take it.

Wow, this is a very catchy song! I have not heard from Neal in a while. Is this new label any good? I looked up Rodeowave, they also promote Phil Vasar now right? Maybe I will request this to my local radio station!

Loved his older 90's material, but not a fan of his recent material.

Why is this struggling so badly? Didn't Phil vassars song get to 35 with this label?

Phil hadn't been out of the spotlight nearly as long as Neal, though. "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On" was a #10 in 2005 (I had forgotten it had made it that high), but you have to go back 15 years to 1997 to find his next top 20 hit, "The Shake" (#5). I think the fact that it has charted at all is an accomplishment, considering his last four singles couldn't. I like the song somewhat, but I don't see it doing much more than it already has.

I think the fact that it has charted at all is an accomplishment, considering his last four singles couldn't. I like the song somewhat, but I don't see it doing much more than it already has. I agree completely. Phil Vassar is also more of a recognizable name on country radio today, and considering Phil isn't a huge hitmaker anymore, what does that say about Neal? I like Neal, and I like this song quite a bit, but he's just not a big enough star anymore to gain much radio airplay. Rodeowave is also a brand new indie label, so the fact that they got top 40 with Phil is actually quite impressive. And, like someguy noted, I wasn't even sure if this would chart at all. This is a very radio-friendly song, and would certainly be a smash hit if Blake Shelton or maybe someone like Darius Rucker or Jerrod Niemann released it, but Neal doesn't have the starpower anymore to turn this into a hit. With that said, I think this will actually stick around for a few more weeks yet. It did take a hit, falling all the way back to #58 on the new 2/4 Billboard chart and losing its bullet, but it also got 3 adds and the album is coming out in March. And, even though it's down at #58, its got enough audience that on most weeks, it would be ranking closer to #53 or so...there are just a lot of slow-moving songs clogging up the chart and that hurts guys like Neal, and newcomers like Brent Anderson, Katie Armiger, Craig Campbell, etc.
