I would say that I expect a high debut for this song next week, but I said that about Kelly Clarkson's newest song last week, and it only came in at number 33 (versus its position of #20 on R&R). Also, last week, the Backstreet Boys' "Incomplete" moved 33-18 on R&R last week, yet only moved up to #28 on AT40. Another thing: Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" is at number 15 on AT40, yet on R&R, it moves up to #9. It seems that the older songs aren't falling as fast as they should, thus keeping the hot new songs from moving up very fast.

Well, isn't it possible this chart would be more similar to the 4/30 chart as opposed to the 5/6 chart; just like what the old version of American Top 40 did. It could also be version that their week ends on Monday or Tuesday as opposed to Sunday. That, and the recurrents included, could account for the weird positioning.

Actually, I was referring to the 4/30 chart when I mentioned the R&R chart positions.

On Y-100(Miami), they screwed up the segment from 37-34 by playing last week's. I didn't realize it at first, but they came back from playing Over and Over at #38 and the break, and played it again at #37. Same stories as last week. Then it was OK.
Ryan played part of Tony Bennett's "Blvd. of Broken Dreams" from 1950 right before Green Day's. Different song, though.
