Absolutely not! This is one of the worst songs on the album.

There's no silver lining with this song. It's either love or hate. I like that it's catchy. In my opinion, this is better than Blah Blah Blah. That song was just uninspiring and the title itself probably turned off alot of people. Peacock has that cheerdance/leading vibe to it which is similar to Hollaback Girl. There are alot of good songs in TD, and I don't mind this being the third or fourth single UMMM NO This is no "Hollaback Girl" that song was clever, fun, witty, quirky and across the board smash (it even went Top 10 on the R&B charts and Urban radio). This is not clever, witty, or quirky at all borderline trashy is more like it and not to mention it's desperate , slutty, and a sad attempt at a "Hey Mickey" rip-off. The song is catchy for the first few listens but that's about it.

If U Seek Amy > LoveGame >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Blah Blah Blah > Peacock
All are pretty embarrasing though, ngl. IUSA was at least somewhat clever (though 'genius' is a huge overstatement).

It would not do good, sorry. Not a single please, release some other songs that will become hits by themselves and Katy can just perform "Peacock" around on television performances like she's already doing to get people to buy the album if they like it. But radio won't touch it and it'll flop or at least under-perform.
