Amazon numbers aren't looking pretty right now Why would they? Not like she has any leftover exposure from the last album. There's no public awareness of the project and her label isn't even trying to promote. |

I didn't really like her on Idol or any of her music, but I actually think a lot of Christmas songs would suit her voice. I remember she did a jazzier, mellow song to get into the top 12 or whatever and I thought I was going to be a big fan of hers. Then she kinda thought she was a belter or something and... |

Not really, it won't sell much until November, but to have it out there in October is quite typical. Faith Hill released her's in October of 2008, and I believe Josh Groban's latest holiday album was an October release as well. |

I'm fine with the lack of Christmas-y feel to it (I never really liked festive covers though), but she looks a bit...aged, honestly. It didn't even look like her at first. Maybe it's the LQ image though.

"At the moment we're doing some tweaking on the lyrics, so it could change, but right now it's 'It's Not Christmas Without You,'" she says, noting she's excited to work on her songwriting chops. "I didn't set out to write something that could be on Top 40 radio. I wanted something that felt maybe just as classic as 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.' I'm not much of an up-tempo songwriter. I have a hard time writing songs that are up-tempo, so this one is a ballad, really beautiful melodically."

'Shark Nite' which currently is being filmed & which Kat is a cast member will probably be released before 'You May Not Kiss The Bride' :(. No release date yet of YMNKTB that I know of.
