Its fine if you disagree. A lot of people do. I just can't get into like any of his music.

Someones mad Eminem is the G.O.A.T. Yeah, I'm soooooo madd there's steam shooting out my ears. My face is red and all I see is Fem's 'Faces of Meth: I Survived' advertorial. Serz, Fem may be perceived as a G.O.A.T. by some because he's relatable & YT, but he hasn't produced anything listenable to anyone outside his (albeit large) core group of stans since 2002. You can't be the GOAT with eight years of stagnant output under your hoodie. Hhahah oh the irony. We're obviously on antithetical wavelengths here, but Kanye -- while maintaining continuity from points A to X -- has evolved with every album release. May I ask if you've heard 'Monster'? Bieber beat Fem at his own game: YT boy with soul. U madd? ??? Someones mad. Also, yeah, singing about douchebags, assholes, and jerkoffs is really evolving musically. Monster is Ye's best track in a while. This song he performed at the awards was garbage.

I already said I wasn't mad. Try again. Tell me when Eminem could lyrically drag himself in a joyful tone. Tell me when could Eminem produce a beat that's not a Gothic stomper. Waiting.................... ??? ???

And this Florence girl has to be the most overrated artist since Alicia Keys. Sorry, but living in Italy I hear her songs on the radio 24/7 and they suck tbh. You talk sense! idk how anyone can say that was a good vocal performance last night when she was screaming her head off. I usually hate Hayley Williams' live performances, but she was a vocal Goddess compared to Florence.

IMO L!nkin Park hasn't evoluted their sound at all since.......... whatever year they were selling Diamond. NGL neither has Fem. Why hang onto these old hats when clearly Kanyeezy West outdid everyone? Linkin Park "non-evoluted" sound is still better than Kanye's bulls**t he passes off as music. That performance was awful. 808's had some good songs on it, like Love Lockdown & Heartless, but other than that album, his music is awful. I agree with you, Diva D, in that I think Kayne gets far too much credit than he deserves for his "artistry". Some of my friends and co-workers who are HUGE Kanye fans rant and rave about his creativity, wittiness, and artistry. Even after multiple listens to borrowed records, I fail to see this massive talent that some feel he possesses. Rather, I think he is just another artist who has had a few good songs and "cred", which is far bigger than his actual talent. To me, he is a classic artist who relies on "smoke and mirrors" to deliver a good live performance, heavily dependent loud beats, autotune, backtracks, guest rappers, etc. I think a great example of this discrepancy is last night's performance of 'Runaway', which was a complete disappointment, IMO: from very UNclever lyrics to cringe-worthy off-key singing to a backtrack/backup singers finally to an inappropriate use of autotune, rendering thos autotuned lyrics essentially unintelligible. This was such an anti-climax after the MTV hype of "Kayne closing the show". When I factor this into the "personality" and unbelievable ego he has or pretends to have, he is just

Linkin Park & EmRi were my favorites. However, Taylor and Kanye's were the most memorable for obvious reasons.

I just found Taylor's performance (+song) so desperately attention-seeking, patronizing and arrogant I could barely pay attention to the vocals.

It's very fitting that the best performance of the night has also received the largest gains on itunes. Dog Days Are Over is #5 now. happy

He really is. He was one of the best last night. Wasn't he miming? Yep. I wouldn't say Florence was one of the best in history...but she was good, and compared to most of the garbage that was showcased this year, it's easy to see why she's shining a bit brighter than maybe deserved. The performances on the whole were lackluster, to say the least.

He really is. He was one of the best last night. Wasn't he miming? And still better then most. Singing is the only form of entertainment. Hell is it was, Britney would be out of a career.
