This break nonsense rears its stupid ugly head yet again. When are people going to realize that there is really no such thing as bad 'over-saturation'? MJ, Madonna, Mariah etc went entire decades releasing album after album, single after single. No harm done. Not until they either veered off and did something that the public didn't want from them or they simply released crap. If she comes back with strong material that radio is willing to play, it won't matter when her last hit was. Though it should be noted that it'll be a solid two years since her last album was released.
Needless to say, I'm amped. Like her or not, Beyonce has proved to be one of the most consistent performers of this past decade. She is likely to be one of the few who come close to modern post-2000 'legends'. (her along with Gaga, Rihanna, Usher, Kanye and perhaps a few others)

I can't wait to see Susan and Bey face off. I see this album easily topping 500k. I actually think it will be her biggest first week sales coming off of the I Am... Sasha Fierce era. The welcome feels a lot warmer, and if the material is hot, I think she will no doubt see a huge first week with a December release.
My prediction:
Single - October Video - November Album - December

wow, really sounds like a real groundbreaking, outside of the box album for Bey with all those super fresh, non used and abused beyond belief producers ;) LOL.

I'm so excited. I just hope they don't hype it up too much and then we end up with a "Ring The Alarm" type situation (which I love btw, but was not nearly as hot as the producer tried to make it out to be lol).
Had no idea she was releasing this year. Really came out of nowhere, huh?

True but what I love about Bee is that she stays true to who she is. People have failed miserably when they stray from the formula I don't think her material on B'Day sounded like anything from anyone else. All of the songs were fresh, funky, and agressive. The stuff she created with Rodney, Swizz, Rich, and Pharrell was amazing. Love or hate the album, I think she finally came into her own as a solo artist there. She's the one who started the signature Stargate sound that became a trend after "Irreplaceable". I think she's capable of bringing the heat with what some would call "typical" or "obvious" producers. People tend to forget that these guys are talented. They will usually save and give their best for someone like her. The direction and sound just has to be inspired. Sasha Fierce was not inspired at all. I can't remember her ever saying more than two words about that side of the album. I don't think she was into it at all. "The Sasha side is for my fans." That's the extent of her going into detail about that portion of the album. The thing that excites me most is she did not jumble the recording process with 50 other things. No film project will be accompanying this album, and that let's me know her focus has solely been on the music the past 6 months. Beyonce shines when she is being herself and not trying to fit into this pretentious mold or trying to be everything to everyone. Rich Harrison (her musical soulmate IMO) is back on board, and I'm happy that she's working with Jim Jonsin again. "Sweet Dreams" was born from a spur of the moment 1-hour recording session. I can't wait to see what they'll do with 2 weeks in the studio together. Q-Tip, The Script, Alja Jackson, and the other new names (plus, names we haven't heard about) excite me the most. It's shaping up to be a much better album than the last one.

If it does come out in three weeks, it would be following the same release schedule IIWAB/SL followed, yeah?
I think they were released to radio on the 7th of October back in 2008 and the videos came out that following Sunday and the album was released on the 18th of November.
Anyways, I hate to get my hopes up without any REALLY official confirmation, but too late.

I'll check this out when it drops.
I wasn't a fan of her last album as a whole, but I did enjoy the singles aside from Diva and I liked Radio too.

Oh what. These women need to CALM DOWN. I know it's been 2 years since she released her IASF, but it doesn't feel like she's been away at all.

I'm ready for a new Beyonce single. I hope it's better than "Ring The Alarm" (which was my least favorite single of hers..)

as485y, why do you have to do all of that? Let's keep this about Beyoncé. Bringing up other artists and their fanbases is not going to do anything other than derail this thread. Seriously, he is always so extra.... Anyways I can't fucking wait for this....I knew it was coming this year. :'(
