You are referring to Hot AC recurrents, right? I barely hear any of those on CHR.

I think 'Baby Got Back' is a great example. I think a lot of CHRs spin that as novelty and it didn't make much of a dent on the format. Or did it..

Puff Daddy etc. "I'll Be Missing You" (#13) Outkast "Ms. Jackon" (#14) Coldplay "Viva La Vida" (#11) Red Hot Chili Peppers "Dani California" (#24) John Mayer "Your Body Is A Wonderland" (#16) John Mayer "Waiting On The World To Change" (#16) Matt Nathanson "Come On Get Higher" (#20) I guess these are probably the only ones I can think of that are still replayed a lot on CHR (in addition to California Love and Mo Money Mo Problems) But I'm just going by Q100 and other CHRs I've heard on road trips

alot of those songs were bigger on the Hot 100 or other formats so that might explain why they get played still at least on the retro shows.

They've been listed, but the ones I'd think of straight away are Baby Got Back, I'll Be Missing You, California Love and Mo Money Mo Problems.

Didn't it come out when Britney was kind of messed up? (And a lot of people kind of thought of her as a joke?) Also are you sure Piece Of Me is really a common recurrent hit nationwide?

I still hear Piece of Me all the time on NYC radio, not sure about nationwide.
But yeah there was definitely a backlash against Britney during the Blackout era hence the low CHR peaks of the singles from that album.

"Everytime" needs to stop being a recurrent flop. That is my favorite Britney song ever.

Britney on this week's gold chart; 209 200 Piece Of Me 39 36 3 0.295 Yeah only 39 spins nationwide is pretty low - it's probably mostly recurrent in NYC (That's a lot of people though )

Lit - My Own Worst Enemy (peaked at 29, one of the most played recurrents of 1999) Notorious B.I.G. - Hypnotize & Big Poppa (neither made the top 50) Dave Matthews Band - practically anything by this band

I like hearing Matchbox 20's Bent as a recurrent. But it's probably not big most places.
