So catchy - can't believe how HUGE this song was in the US.

This is definitely a Mary classic. Fun song.

Her 2 short wigs in the video are so terrible lmao.
I loved it at the time, then never listened to it for years. Don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other on it these days.

Mary hates this song. And she hates that she is obligated to perform it because it was so big. LMAO.

Haha. This isn't even close to being her best, but it's a Mary signature and it definitely has it's place. People usually get so pumped when it comes on.
*edit* this just came up in my Mary playlist. I forgot how good the bridge to this is.

This is a song that will never sound old. It always sounds like a current hit, despite its age. I can't believe that it's almost 20 years old now.

Absolutely one of her best and from the 2000s. I never get tired of listening to this.

The best song from Mary J Blige's 2001 album although I prefer several of her older hits (like "Real Love", "Be Happy", etc). This was heavily played on WGCI back then. Even B96 was playing this song in high demand as until that point they had largely ignored most of Mary's singles (apart from the mega-hit "Real Love" and her appearance in Method Man's "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By") even though she was big on most rhythmic top 40 stations back then.

Gosh I remember this being so hot when I was like 18 and sneaking into clubs. Loved to dance to it and always filled the floor. Never gets old to me.

well she better fall in love with this song again. This is the song that most people know by her and will have everybody in the Super Bowl stadium on their feet! This song and loose yourself will likely be the highlight of the Super Bowl halftime show.

As soon a the Superbowl announcement came, I started spinning the hell out of this. It's still ridiculously fun. The fact that she invented new words... your favs could never.
And again, that bridge. SO GOOD. It seems to last forever.

An eternal bop that gets everyone jumping. It gives me the nostalgia of going shopping with my family on a Sunday lmao, with this song being spinned in the mall. It's also interesting that as much as her entire brand is built on R&B ballads and struggles and heartbreaks, her biggest hit is this happy song about clubbing and having fun.
Although I feel like most people don't know the title of this song. They just refer to it as "the dancery song".
