Signed by SyCo in the UK and Rock Nation in the US, Cher Lloyd will release her debut album on November 22nd. The confirmed tracklist so far is: 1. "Swagger Jagger" (1st Single, produced by The Runners) 2. "Grow Up" featuring Busta Rhymes (Produced by Kevin Rudolf & The Runners) 3. "With Ur Love" featuring Mike Posner (Produced by Max Martin) 4. "Dub On the Track" featuring Ghetts, Mic Righteous & Dot Rotten (Produced by TMS) 5. "Superhero" (Produced by Jukebox) 6. "Over the Moon" (Produced by RedOne) Additional tracks are expected to features production from Shellback and Naughty Boy and a collaboration with soul singer Emeli Sandé (confirmed by Lloyd at her Radio 1's interview). As is well known, Cher has also recorded with Will.I.Am., but it has been reported that he has blocked the songs he did for her from Syco after Simon Cowell fired Cheryl Cole from the judging panel at The X Factor US. Watch the official video for "Swagger Jagger" below, as well as official previews of the other five tracks:

She is an extremely average singer and not a great rapper. It's all hype. I'm very interested to see how they handle her career though.

Her first audition was definitely fantastic, and I really loved her 'Viva La Vida' cover and her performances of 'Stay' and 'Just Be Good To Me'. Everything else has definitely let me down though. Do like her though.
P.S. You need to include 'Just Be Good To Me' and her audition and take away Shout and Sorry/Mockingbird.
I basically agree with everything that Billy says. Per usual.

I thought her "Viva La Vida" was cringeworthy. "Ring a dingin'"? Ew.
I only know one person who actually likes her. It was the same with Leona. It's incredible what hype does. With Leona it was like a self fulfilling prophecy. There was all this news of big producers and musical industry big shots being interested in her and her recording sessions and hype in America and everyone bought into it, even though a lot of it wasn't true. It was like a runaway train and she managed to get a couple of big hits out of it, but then it seemed like one day everyone realised that they never actually liked her. I don't know if that makes sense.
I feel like this is the same situation. There's so much hype and expectation but she was bottom two on Sunday for goodness sake. And I can't believe Jay-Z and Will.i.am are fans. You can pull the wool over ITV's Saturday night viewership maybe, but this girl can barely rap a few bars without getting out of breath. That's not going to fly in the States. Just because she's something different for X Factor doesn't mean she's doing anything different in the wider music world. She's also not going to get very far if she's as much of a workshy bitch as the rumours say.
AND it's not like her performances are even novel ideas. Mashing up "Empire State Of Mind Part II" with... "Empire State Of Mind"? Ooh, daring!
But yeah... I'm not a "hater" or something. I appreciate that she IS something different for the show and she can be entertaining.

She has some promise and potential. I liked her initial audition.

P.S. You need to include 'Just Be Good To Me' and her audition and take away Shout and Sorry/Mockingbird. Really? Everyone I know loved ND/SHOUT and SSTBTHW/Mockingbird! LOL Either way, I added the ones you mentioned. I thought her "Viva La Vida" was cringeworthy. "Ring a dingin'"? Ew. Well, you can blame Swizz Beatz for that! I appreciate that she IS something different for the show and she can be entertaining. I think that the reason why she was in the bottom 2 it's because she's more of a WW/US singer than an UK type of singer, if that makes any sense. What I mean is, UK public is really particular too put it in words (no offense meant there!). I think it has been proved that The X Factor's viewers doesn't vote for what they do onstage, but because of who they think is nicer or god knows what. I mean, they never buy they goddam albums once they are out (except for Leona and Alexandra, and we'll see what happens with Joe). She has some promise and potential. I liked her initial audition. Exactly. I think she's the one with the stronger projection. Week after week, I'm only interested on what she's performing. All the other's are washed up. At first I also liked Rebecca (her version of Owl City's "Fireflies" was the best of the seasons), but she lacks personality, and ended up boring me. It's like watching the same performances over and over again.

Well, you can blame Swizz Beatz for that! Swizz Beatz didn't write the part of the rap based on "Viva La Vida"'s lyrics. I think it has been proved that The X Factor's viewers doesn't vote for what they do onstage, but because of who they think is nicer or god knows what. I'm not entirely sure I get what you're saying. Maybe they agree with me that she's not the outstanding artist she's being hyped up to be. Just because people aren't voting how you want doesn't mean they're not voting on talent. I mean, they never buy they goddam albums once they are out (except for Leona and Alexandra, and we'll see what happens with Joe). And JLS... and Diana Vickers... and Shayne Ward. X Factor is like a cast iron guarantee of music sales in the UK. Not only is a performance on the show like buying a Top 5 hit, but a number of contestants have gone on to successful careers. Again I'm not really sure I get what you're saying. That her being bottom two means she has more chance of a long term career?

Voting isn't restricted to the UK, there are ways to vote offshore. I do not say that people vote talent, I say that getting people's vote doesn't equals album/singles sales. Look at Leon Jackson, Taylor Hicks, the guy who won last season of AI.

Whether or not she is a great singer or rapper this girl is just a star. I think she definitely has US potential and she already has support from major players in the American hip hop community.

I've never been more excited for an album from an X-factor contestant in my life i think. I think she's just amazing. And she has a perfectly sufficient voice, much better than most female pop stars + she's not awkward or wobbly on stage. I'm sure she's gonna do great.

Savan Kotecha, who is executive producing the album, has compared it to The Dutchess and says it's a fairly even split of singing and rapping.

Cher is two letters away from being Cheryl, and she was three places away from winning series 7 of X Factor under her Geordie mentor, but Cher was undoubtedly the star of the show! At 17 she looks set to have a long and illustrious career ahead of her. She signed to Syco (Simon Cowell’s world conquering record label) after the X Factor had finished and is now set to release her first single Swagger Jagger in August, and her debut Album featuring Will.i.am, Busta Rhymes, Ga Ga, Brit Brit and Rih Rih in September… how can she fail?Source

First single comes out in a week (June 20th). We will get a snippet tomorrow.
On other news, she has been confirmed to perform on the "T4 On The Beach" festival, alongside Jessie J, Nicola Roberts, The Wanted, The View, McFly, Example, Katy B, The Wombats, N-Dubz, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Alexis Jordan, JLS, Olly Murs, Jason Derulo and Aloe Blacc.
Matt Cardle who? I always knew she was gonna get booked much better than him.

Cher's additional auditions for The X Factor have been uploaded (you know, the ones you do in front of the producers in order to have a chance in front of the judges). She sings:
00:03 Ain't No Other Man - Christina Aguilera
01:23 Keep Me Hanging On - Diana Ross
03:10 Thank You For The Music - ABBA
05:02 Listen - Beyoncé Knowles
07:09 Who's Loving You - Jackson Five
08:46 Telephone - Lady Gaga ft. Beyoncé

I'm surprised he's not on Swagger Jagger since he's been so actively involved with this album. You have any idea when it's out btw? I keep reading conflicting reports.
