IMO Bound to you really is much better and it's not because it's a christina song but just because it is better :)...YHSLM IMO is the weakest song on the Soundtrack.

The Oscars can nominate multiple songs from each movie. Let the h8ters stay pressed.

Haha yeah, this is true. Dreamgirls and Enchanted both got 3 "Best Song" nominations in their respective years. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Burlesque got two.

I am not in love with either so I really would just like to see a nomination that will be credited to the film/soundtrack no matter which song it goes to. They may favor Cher just because she is a vet anyway.

London Premiere WTF?!? Cher looks like she's going to a Halloween party, matter of fact so does Christina. Awful! Her best look was the other day with her hair up.

The Oscars can nominate multiple songs from each movie. Let the h8ters stay pressed. Yes, but the limit is two songs per movie. Looks like Burlesque has identified its two best bets. If I took a shot for how many times the word "pressed" and/or "haters" is going to be used in this thread today, I'd probably die. Surprised at Burlesque's Best Pic nomination. I know the Comedy field is weak this year, but it seems Easy A suffered from being released much earlier. And I would have thought the more critically well-received Tangled would have taken a spot over Burlesque to fill the musical slot.

I believe Christina is the first (or one of the only) singers turned actresses to make it in the Best Picture category at the Golden Globes with their debut performance.

And I would have thought the more critically well-received Tangled would have taken a spot over Burlesque to fill the musical slot. Yeah, this. I frequent an awards forum and this category is the weakest we've seen in years. The songs I naturally thought would get some nom's but the best comedy/musical nom is rather dumbfounding... till I see The Tourist on that list. Wow the Globes are sinking to a new low this year. They really need to change their format and just combine best drama with best comedy/musical and have 10 noms. That way 10 of the best films of the year would get a nom instead of 5 of the best dramas, then 1-2 of the best comedy/musicals and 3 others that don't deserve it cause they need to fill that category with 5 titles. Happens every year. All of this is of course is not Legends fault. I actually thought she was pretty cute in Burlesque and did what she could in it. (no Xtina hate from me) It's just, as a film student I hate seeing the pool of great films of each year get watered down because of how the Globes categorize their awards.

Christina reacts to GG nomination
"I want to thank the HFPA for recognizing our song 'Bound to You'. It is a ballad Sia and I wrote from the heart and one that I am extremely proud of. I am thrilled that our film 'Burlesque' was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Making this movie was a life changing experience and I couldn't be more pleased that the Foreign Press has recognized the hard work the cast and I put into it. Now I am off to Paris with the cast to continue our international press tour "

Congrats to Christina Aguilera for being a Golden Globe nominee in Songwriting! I hope she can pull off an Oscar nomination (a la Janet Jackson).

People are absolutely furious LOL. Lucky for them I'm not the type to rub it in and say "I told you so"... I mean, I wouldn't want to make them feel like crap or anything.
