I was at work this morning and for some reason it dawned on me that Feist and Emily Haines were/are involved with Broken Social Scene, not the New Pornographers. Got home and couldn't figure out what the lead single from the album was, but it looks like it was guessed a half hour ago anyway. Damn.

#65. "Forced to Love" - Broken Social Scene 99. Adelitas Way "Last Stand" Beautiful guys, just beautiful. For knowledge's sake, 83 is Eldebrock - "Release Me". I know, right off the tip of your tongue, right? I'm reposting #53: 53. www.zshare.net/audio/84003260d3ba3cfc/ The band shares their name with a Tracy Bonham song. This title track off their 2008 album was released as the lead single but failed to chart. Their second single gave them a top 10 Canadian Alt hit, and they re-released this as the followup in 2009. Mother Mother - O My Heart ( devin0) Yes, that Tracy Bonham song. Look it up on Wikipedia, it'll click with you. Round two is coming up!

Plenty of fun, indeed!
Oh, and pretty sure the Tracy Bonham song is the only one I know, but, alas, I wouldn't be able to name a song by an artist of that name.
44. Broken Bells: "The High Road" 40. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers: "High in the Morning" 38. Phoenix: "Lisztomania" 04. Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg: "California Gurls"
Guess my brain is working at even lower power than usual.

Broken Bells: "The High Road" 40. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers: "High in the Morning" 38. Phoenix: "Lisztomania" 04. Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg: "California Gurls" That's all right. Guess my brain is working at even lower power than usual. Nah, that's a fine haul. LOL, how modest of you. 11. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream Yup!

"Vagabond Bones", Helix 33. "The Northern", Alexisonfire 25. ?, Dragonette ??? #34: You'd think that from the clue, but no. 25 is by a new wave-influenced Canadian pop punk band who broke out big with their "Dead End" version of this chart. But by the time this third single was released, all momentum died down and it flopped.

Did somebody say extended clues? 47. www.zshare.net/audio/84120564c9093367/ This 90's rock band's comeback single was not the smash hit they were expecting. Bush - Afterlife ( halo19) 25. www.zshare.net/audio/8412058592cfb2a8/ As mentioned before, these guys are a new wave-influenced Canadian pop punk band who broke out big with their "Dead End" version of this chart. But by the time this third single was released, all momentum died down and it flopped. They aren't The Old Towns, but this. The New Cities - Hypertronic Superstar ( devin0) 17. www.zshare.net/audio/8412059689af6f4f/ This Vancouver-based band had a minor Active rock hit in 2008 with this song that isn't a Flashlight Brown cover. This lead single from their yet-to-be-released sophomore album failed to do anything. Jet Black Stare - Better Off Being Alone ( St. Nicholas2.0) 15. www.zshare.net/audio/8412061520b8c698/ This lead single from this new Canadian rock band is currently rising up our charts. Their band name might remind you of The Jonas Brothers. Jonas and the Massive Attraction - Big Slice ( devin0) 13. www.zshare.net/audio/84120627dd5425e8/ This received some small play on our pop stations, but was never an official single. This quirky Canadian alternative singer's biggest hit was about stripteasing, and his latest single might not be your parent's music. Really, that's what the title says. The title of this song is what a scientist might use. Hawksley Workman - Chemical ( St. Nicholas2.0) 10. www.zshare.net/audio/841206547e87cd93/ The lead single from this legendary classic rock singer's 2010 blues-tinged album. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - I Should Have Known It ( halo19)

^ Oic. Do you like the other singles from the album? My second fav song from the album would be "The Sweater Song". The album as a whole was a grower for me.
The hell with it, I'll do a list from most to least liked songs on The Show Must Go: (you can do the same if you wish)
01. "Perfect" 02. "The Sweater Song" 03. "Cha-Ching" 04. "Don't Talk to Strangers" 05. "Shelter" 06. "Hands Up" 07. "Young & Stupid" 08. "Scream" 09. "Amazing" 10. "Friends" 11. "9 Shades of Red"

#15. "Big Slice", Jonas & the Massive Attraction #25. "Hypertronic Superstar", The New Cities (to me, this never really flopped; althought the second single did) "Dead End Countdown" #16 (big hit) "Leaders of the Misled" #99 (big flop) "Hypertronic Superstar" #58 (done considerably well despite the previous single flopping so bad)

^ Oic. Do you like the other singles from the album? My second fav song from the album would be "The Sweater Song". The album as a whole was a grower for me. "Sweater Song" and "Hands Up" for me, with "Cha-Ching" at third. I haven't listened to the album, but the singles as a whole are a disappointment compared to their previous album. #15. "Big Slice", Jonas & the Massive Attraction #25. "Hypertronic Superstar", The New Cities (to me, this never really flopped; althought the second single did) "Dead End Countdown" #16 (big hit) "Leaders of the Misled" #99 (big flop) "Hypertronic Superstar" #58 (done considerably well despite the previous single flopping so bad) Good point, I've never even heard the second single. All I remember is that this was the third single, and that I heard it a lot on the radio compared to its low chart success. And those are both right, BTW.
