He caters to the Urban base, but he doesn't have a hit. They were smart in thinking that "Strip" isn't the kind of single that would sell albums, but following it up with "Sweet Love" which isn't exactly a smash at Urban may have been a misfire. Plus "Strip" is so long ago at this point, despite being a big Urban hit, I REALLY don't see it selling his album now. His material doesn't seem to be catching on this time around. I don't know if catering to the base, while not scoring big hits, is enough for him to sell big numbers.

True but doesn't he have "Til I Die" charting as well? The major concern is the urban crowd needs to know when the album is dropping. I hope the pushback doesn't hurt too much. I can see the debate over "Strip" (which was my favorite from the mixtape and surprised of its release) but isn't that type of record that the urban fan base would expect from him along with a sex ballad ("SweetLove") to get him album sales? I feel he covered his base right now. He also has featurings with Fat Joe and etc. So if the awareness of the album dropping these coming weeks is out there, he should sustain a good first week opening without a hit there. His situation is quite to his last era just however, they probably should release it on top of "Strip" with new songs impacting soon afterward.

"Till I Die" just broke the Top 30 at Urban radio, and it's the thirteenth greatest gainer. I don't see it taking off enough in the next 2 weeks to have an affect on the album's first week sales. Even if Urban listeners are aware he has a new album coming out, they still need to be willing to buy it and Urban listeners haven't been eating up his past couple of singles.

His material this go 'round is weak. He also has too many songs on radio (his solo + feature material), which is causing a lot of confusion & saturation on Urban radio, his release dates are all over the place & he's not racking up strong Top 10 hits to garner attention for this album. I do see him doing at least 200k his 1st week, but like "F.A.M.E.," it won't scan platinum.

Chris Brown Injured After Drake ConfrontationChris Brown was left with a nasty wound after his entourage clashed with Drake's early this morning in NYC. TMZ has confirmed with DCPI that the two singers' crews got into it at WIP nightclub in New York -- and that 5 people were left injured from the violent outburst. NYPD arrived on the scene shortly after receiving a call between 4 and 5am. Chris and Drake were not present when cops arrived. We're told there were no critical injuries ... just bumps, bruises and lacerations. No arrests were made. Brown tweeted the photo above after the fight, showing a cut on his chin. He also reportedly tweeted the message "How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!" -- though both the photo and message have since been removed. There are reports that the two started throwing blows (and bottles!) over Chris' ex girlfriend, Rihanna, who Drake is also rumored to have hooked up with ... but we have not confirmed these reports. Story developing ... www.tmz.com/2012/06/14/chris-brown-drake-fight-injured-rihanna/

Never disappoints. And what exactly is the point of him posting that picture? Is that suppose to be hard? " N!ggas hiding in the bathroom b-tch ass ni!ggas! And I’m the singer?"

LOL I remember when Chris first came out. He was so squeaky clean and properly-mannered.
My how times have changed.

Chris Brown Fight -- Flying Bottle Cracks Innocent Girl's Head Open
An innocent female clubgoer was gushing blood last night ... after she was struck by a flying bottle in the middle of the Chris Brown nightclub brawl ... TMZ has learned.
TMZ spoke with Hollie C. -- a 24-year-old Australian tourist who went to club W.i.P. Wednesday night with some friends.
Hollie says ... in the midst of the chaos, she was transported to a local hospital by herself where she received 16 stitches to close up the bloody gash. She also received a tetanus shot.
Hollie was released from the hospital early this morning ... and has since filed a police report ... but tells us, "I had to take the subway home with no money or jacket. Nobody would even sit beside me. My friends were so scared because they did not know where I was."
-TMZ
They posted an image of the girl's head but I'm not posting it.

Lmaoooo oh my goodness. It is sad state that this is part of our generation's offsprings. Immaturity at its finest but it is funny to see rapper/singer trying to play tough with a group of bodyguards. Smh.
So will they do a song now? "Hell Ya F*cking Right Til I Die"

This whole Chris and Drake thing is dumb dumb. But back to the music, Chris should really stop confusing his audience. He's been releasing way too many singles, even if some of the singles aren't really actual singles. It's just too many of them out there.

I CAN'T at this hahaha Fortune Commercial :o :o  Interview about the album conceptOh, from his Instagram... LOVE IT! Should've been the album cover if he had changed his pants! Apparently, the leaders of Team Breezy Sydney were invited to Fortune listening session by Sony Music Australia at their office. *jealous* Based on the comments on Twitter, the one that caught most attention was "Don't Judge Me". The whole album was said to be more R&B than F.A.M.E. and contained more vocals as well.

Album snippetsSounds really boring imo. Definitely more R&B, solely that actually, but it sounds potentially monotonous and tired (but then it could just be the portions of the song they used so I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now). "Wait For You" and "Biggest Fan" were the only ones that stood out to me....

Yeah this is definitely an R&B album which is great news. He probably should have stayed away from releasing the pop singles then. His fanbase might pull an Usher on him....
The album does sound great though.
