I wish Deadmau5 was performing by himself or just with the singer on 'Raise Your Weapon' BAAAAAAAAAAARF at the other performers in the 'Dance segment'. deadmau5 is a sick performer! I was here for this, imagine if he did something on a smaller scale at the Grammy's...

Foo Fighters, deadmau5, Chris Brown, David Guetta, and Lil' Wayne are all the same performance? Yes. Foo Fighters are confirmed to have 2 performances though. Everyone else is confirmed to just be in the dance segment.

Of course, I wouldn't complain if it were a favorite of mine but even still, there are a lot of nominees, a lot of great potential performances so I don't see the point in a semi-veteran, gold-selling rock band performing twice.

I doubt their collaborative performance will really have much focus on them anyway. There's always a few acts that perform twice every year but they're barely ever the stars of both performances. Most times they either just do a verse, if it's a tribute, or perform back-up or something.

Rihanna and Chris Brown performance rumors?? Or is that just a rumor?? I really hope it's a rumor. If she wants to be talk to the guy who gave her a black eye a few years ago, that's her choice. But to perform together on a national stage when thousands of impressionable girls are watching, what type of message does that send?

I think it would hurt her in the short run (pun partially intended).
But I doubt it. It would bring ratings, that's fo sho.

Daughtry's posted a couple pictures on Twitpic about rehearsing for their tour and something they don't want to reveal:
"Rehearsals are going extremely well!! Can't tell ya what we're working on but it will be of epic proportions:)"
Any chance they could be performing? *crosses fingers*

I agree with your general statement of it being unnecessary for them to perform twice. With that said I am, however, heavily anticipating their performance and do think their fantastic album deserved a nomination.

What categories are being televised? The Pink upset over Adele for Best Pop Vocal should be broadcast all over the world. No? ok.

Rihanna and Chris Brown performance rumors?? Or is that just a rumor?? Coldplay tweeted about "Chris and Rihanna rehearsing", but perhaps some people just aren't aware that they mean Chris Martin.

We won't find out which categories are being televised until Sunday when the pre-show starts. It is normally announced days before. In 2009 and 2010 it was a few days early, but last year it wasn't until the day of. ;) www.grammy.com/files/pages/53ballot_finalpdf.pdfthat was the link last year, so I guess just try putting a 54 in through out the weekend and hope it will work!

I wonder if the return of The Walking Dead will hurt this year's ratings.

Not having read through all of the pages, do we know what people are performing on the show? Adele likely will perform "Set Fire to the Rain," and maybe some of "Rolling in the Deep"? What about Bruno Mars and Katy Perry? Their latest singles have peaked and all.

Just a short time ago she as running up there to accept that very award, now she's awarding someone else. It'd be nice if it were TBP.

I predict that Katy will perform "Part Of Me". Considering it goes to radio at midnight right after the show, I could see that happening...

Music's Biggest Day The GRAMMY Pre-Telecast Ceremony comes into its own as a major stand-alone event This year, approximately 70 of the 78 GRAMMY categories will be announced at the Pre-Telecast Ceremony on Feb. 12, with the final categories showcased on the CBS telecast. www.grammy.com/news/musics-biggest-dayWTF! They did all that consolidating and they're showing even less categories? LAME.

Is Katy Perry's single hitting iTunes at midnight as well?
Any idea on Nicki Minaj's performance? If not "Turn Me One," than aside from "Set Fire to the Rain," any other track that gains following a performance will be coming from much further down the iTunes chart, it looks.
