I'm glad this is charting at Pop. Pop radio is supposed to play popular songs from all other radio formats that have crossed over. Besides, it's nice to hear an actual urban sounding rap song in between all the electro. Not to mention this song is hot as hell and is one of Chris Brown's best singles to date.

this version made me appreciate the original just a tad bit more with the impressive rapping. the song is a grower! That is amazing.

I'm happy and surprised this is charting on POP. But for me, Deuces >>>> Look At Me Now

This is absolutely tearing up rhythmic and urban, wish top 40 would follow suit.

^ Well it's top 40..
But I still think this will hit a brick wall before top 20 or right after and is the wrong choice.

As much as I love this song and am glad to hear this on pop radio, I have to agree with you. I can't see it going top 20. I guess it's too late for the label to stop pop from playing this and rush-release "She Ain't You"?

^ Beautiful People was top 60 or 50 a week or two ago and I can see it really having a shot so I don't see why they're not just pushing that now and going with She Ain't You third ???

This is up to 110 stations on pop playing it. Which is impressive since people swore up and down pop wouldn't touch it or it's not "made" for pop . And as much as I want Beatutiful People, he needs pop back on board with his urban stuff. Or he's never gonna get a multiformat smash. This is no more urban than Bottoms Up. In fact, if it were Trey or Usher this would already be flying up the pop chart. Even if it goes top 15 or stalls at top 30 it does not stop his momentum. It's still top 10 Hot 100, STILL top 10 itunes (I think this is the longest he's been top 10 digital), #1 on urban and #1 on rhythmic. And that's with no promo other than 1 performance on 106 and Park. That's pretty impressive. Also, none of his singles are flopping. She Ain't You is top 20 rhythmic and top 10 urban and doesn't even have a video yet. It's smashing both formats. Beautiful People was never released here but it's top 5 in UK and I think Aussie and NZ. Frankly I think people are just pressed because Chris continues to see success.

I haven't been following very closely but I feel like there have already been 10 singles this era.

No, the era just seems long as all get out because of the mixtapes. IMO the singles are coming too fast but clearly he just wants to stay out there. If I had it my way LAMN would be pushed at pop for a few more weeks and Beautiful People actually sent for adds. But I dont think that was ever intended as a domestic single. SAY video premieres tomorrow.

This is up to 123 stations on pop and is getting really good updates. It's #33. This should go top 20.
