Sweet. Reading rumors on their forum about a September release for the album--looking forward to it.
p.s. How'd you find out the date?

Nice. "Hello Hurricane" was solid, hope this is just as good.

Here's hoping this album is as consistent as Hello Hurricane was.

Here's hoping this album is as consistent as Hello Hurricane was. See, I only listened through Hello Hurricane a couple times, but for some reason it just didn't do much for me. I thought "Always" was boring, and the only two tracks I really dug were Mess of Me and The Sound. Maybe I didn't give it a fair enough chance. To be fair I've only liked a few songs from each album...their album tracks usually don't do much for me (Except Dirty Second Hands...unless that was a single. I can't remember) Edit: Oh and Happy Is a Yuppy Word. Then again I also don't even know if that was a single.

I've liked all of the last four Switchfoot full-length albums about equally. All respectably very good. Yes, I think some songs are better than others, but I don't think it's possible for them ever to make an album that I wouldn't like.

I thought "Always" was boring, and the only two tracks I really dug were Mess of Me and The Sound. I saw Switchfoot live with the Goo Goo Dolls. Loved, loved, loooved it when Switchfoot played those two. I liked Mess of Me before this but, The Sound was especially great too with Jon whacking a huge drum head like there's no tomorrow. Just awesome.

the only two tracks I really dug were Mess of Me and The Sound. Interesting; those two were really the only two off of Hello Hurricane that I didn't love. Even the really cliche "Your Love Is A Song".

I always liked "Your Love is a Song" for its delivery. I didn't really care for the more Christian stuff, though.

"The Sound" was one of the best songs from last year. I find that they often are solid.

So many close remakes, but most are missing just one word or need a word replaced with another!
