New Music: Lloyd feat. Trey Songz & Young Jeezy "Be the One" (Snip)!!

What is going on with all of these songs dropping? Is the whole CD going to be released before the CD is actually released? I thought Cupid was doing well enough-not to mention the buzz still surrounding Lay it Down.

Zone 4/Interscope is still pushing "Cupid" as the current single. According to Lloyd's twitter...he is asking fans to request "Cupid" at their local radio station.

Also, Lloyd will be releasing an official mixtape on Memorial Day.

This is terrible. I loved "Lay It Down". "Cupid" was alright. They screwed up not releasing the album when "Lay it Down" was huge. I don't see him getting another major hit.

Lloyd said the album wasn't finished when it leaked and they just ran with it as the single. Nobody had any idea it would be as big as it was.

Zone 4/Interscope was not going to release Lloyd's album until he had two successful back-to-back hits. That's why "Let's Get It In" was released to radio while "Lay It Down" was still gaining lots of airplay. When "Let's Get It In" underperformed that changed the release date.

The album was always supposed to come out 1st quarter 2011 with a February 14 release date. That info. comes from the very first press release about the project.

The label actually wanted to release the album in 4Q 2010 but Lloyd insisted they hold out until V-Day.

People have been saying that since his first hit.

I think he will always get radom hits here and there but his material hasnt been solid enough to gain a dedicated following at radio and thats what is hurting him right now.

This will be a hit, he seems to have struck gold when he signed with Polow all the songs have been really hot (sans the original mix of LYD), this album should have been out (at the latest) earlier this month. I really don't think the newest push back to July was necessary.

Well "Dedication to My Ex" is doing extremely well worldwide so IMHO the label made the right decision in that aspect. However they should have went with this 3rd in the U.S.

Now all this needs is an adds date.
