This is doing pretty well, hope it goes at least top 15 here. Very chill song for the summer months and quite a refreshing change of pace (along with Rolling in the Deep) amongst the upbeat dancey electro pop out there, although I don't mind that either. Oh, and aaront, this song samples Human Nature; that's mostly why it sounds like it. Yeah it was a great single choice for spring/summer....only gripe is I wish they pushed it on pop while it was still going crazy on R&B.\ Should be 22 in a couple days.....top 20 if Nicole Sherzinger,Brittany Spears + Beyonce start falling faster

'She Ain't You' gains 102 spins on Pop today! :o Shame it's stalling on iTunes though, the same thing happened to 'Yeah 3x' as well. Otherwise, it could've been a top 10 hit on the Hot 100. :(

-179 today. Only managed to reach a peak of #17. :'( Shame on the label. If they had actually put some effort into this, I'm sure it could've gone top 10. >:(

Hopefully they've learned something and actually send and push and promote 'Beautiful People' on Pop, it'd be a shame if the track didn't end up being a hit on this format, because it deserves :(

This actually did better than I expected here, especially because it "only" managed a #5 peak on the R&B chart which is actually somewhat of a disappointment given how his previous few singles performed there.

The label can't do anything because Chris' mouth will get him in trouble as soon as they try to promote him in any way and he's burning bridges left and right.

The label can't do anything because Chris' mouth will get him in trouble as soon as they try to promote him in any way and he's burning bridges left and right. Well, what will sitting around doing nothing do? If they'd at least try to get him back out there and everything, maybe his next era could be big. The way they're going, his next era will likely be another relative under-performance. 'Yeah 3x' was a huge pop hit, I'm pretty sure the public is over the incident with Rihanna if that's the problem, and they should just try to forget that. It would obviously help the people who still have that in mind if he went out and promoted himself positively. Hopefully they've learned something and actually send and push and promote 'Beautiful People' on Pop, it'd be a shame if the track didn't end up being a hit on this format, because it deserves :( I don't expect anything. 'Yeah 3x' and 'She Ain't You' basically just took off on their own without adds dates (correct me if I'm wrong). If 'Beautiful People' is a hit, it will also be because it manages to take off by itself - but that's unlikely, considering it was done ages ago overseas etc. It would be a decent hit (teens) if they promoted it, but that seems to be out of the question.

They're not releasing "Beautiful People" because Chris wants to continue in an Urban direction and leave the pop/electro music behind. It's too late anyway. That song already went Top 50 at CHR/Pop and Rhythmic and had fairly significant airplay through spring and early summer. It would be a moderate success at best at this point due to so many stations playing it months ago already.
