Here is the trailer to the DVD, which includes the full-performance version of "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" iTunes now has the DVD version available for pre-order in both SD and HD. However, I do not think that the iTunes version includes the backstage footage which is promised on the TV special as well as the physical DVD. The iTunes version will release one week after it is released online and in Walmart. ( March 10th). Apparently international countries (UK, Brasil, etc) have been given the option to pre-order a Bluray stand-alone copy. I haven't heard whether or not the Bluray will actually be released in the US. iTunes Pre-Order

The Blu-Ray will be hitting US stores as a stand-alone in early March. I believe March 10 is also its release date.

The CD/DVD combo became available in my local Walmart today. I don't know if that means every Walmart has released the combo package, or not. I pre-orded my copy off of their website earlier this month. That arrival date was set to today. In the email I got from USPS, it said that delivery was delayed due to harsh weather conditions. I don't know how this pre-order release thing, got so mixed up. Select pre-orders from her website were delivered yesterday to MANY fans. What happened to March 3rd??
As for the album, possibly not being released this year... I am not disappointed, because she didn't say the album would be released this year. And, studio proof only started showing up, late last year. I think now, the ball is finally rolling and she is dedicated to releasing an album. With Shania, everything is a process. She is a protectionist. Which I admire, because she wants it to be right. It is possible we could see a single this year...or new material played out on the road when she announces the tour.

Sometimes there are street-date violations, and this apparently is one of those cases. :)

I loved watching the TV Special. Such great memories from visiting Vegas and such a tease for the full DVD on Tuesday. I can't wait to hear this announcement Tuesday. We know the CD won't be til next year so it's got to be a tour!

Yeah, it definitely sounds like she's going to be announcing a tour. Hopefully she'll debut some new music throughout the tour! :)
As for the Vegas special, it was nice, but I am slightly disappointed with her voice. I know she's gone through so much in her personal life as well as medically with her voice, but it still has that nasally sound that I was hoping she would overcome. :(
Regardless, I'm glad she's back and I'm looking forward to the tour and new music from her.

I use to hear the nasally sound, in her 2012 performances. I no longer hear it. I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed the special on ABC.

Enjoyed it, and probably will pick up the DVD. A highlight was when she came out on the horse and made "You're Still the One" an ode to a pet. :) I take it that's her horse?

It was not her horse, and, I'm afraid to report that horse actually passed (unrelated to its participation in Shania's show).

I cant hate on Shania but the editing they have done for the special SUCKS imo. I mean, its obvious they taped at least 2 shows and blended as one but they could be more subtle about it. The angles switch sometimes to completely different positions of Shania that makes it obvious that it is a combination of 2 shows.
Also, I am not a regular follower of this Vegas residency but I take she sang at least nearly EVERYTHING live right? I'm asking cause the audio for STILL THE ONE and FROM THIS MOMENT from the TV Special sound so dubbed (pre-recorded vocals) that I'm wondering if its just the DVD or she really lipped both songs on Vegas

I hope you're not offended since you're all big country fans, but I hope she does a pop version of her album for us european fans, like she did with the whole Up! album, and with several of the singles of the album Come On Over. I just want her to have a shot at success this side of the pond again

^I think she will. She had too many fans around the world for her not to do pop versions of some sort.

Awww, at the horse. :(
I did like that the arrangements for the tracks, from what I could tell, were true to the original version, at least in some cases, and not the pop mixes (see "You're Still the One").

Wow Shania announced a TOUR today and no posts about it yet? All dates at www.shaniatwain.com. It is her FINAL tour! So far just North American dates. I would be shocked if there isn't a 2nd International leg. If not that would be a slap in the face to her fans in Europe, Asia, and Australia, and even South America who have supported her for 20 years. One thing I don't get. If she is recording an album of all new music, why would she not want to do another tour around it to play some of the new stuff live? Maybe she will do at least a few appearances when the time comes, but not a full tour. I went thru so many emotions in a few seconds when she made that announcement this morning. Pure joy when she said she was going back on tour, then like I was punched in the gut in the next breath when she said it would be her last. The prices are pretty extreme in some aspects but not in others.. In Vegas I paid $50 for her upper balcony seats. In Charlotte its $80 for side/limited stage views in the far upper corner. $160 for up front...but it was $250 for up front in Vegas. I will go, no doubt there. Just disappointing that there won't be another full tour for when her studio album comes out. I know as soon as I buy a new album I can imagine how those songs will sound on that artist's tour. Now that option won't even be there.
