The fact that Adele still has this ridiculous lead not only in America, but in practically every major market.
If she breaks Utada's 3m global record we can safely say she is truly the new MJ.

Here we are on Halloween morning. Most of these songs have probably peaked now. From my look at the pop bars, the peak time for those sales is around 5-8 PM on October 31 in the past 2 years.

Looks like iTunes has been frozen for the past 9 hours... End of DST - most likely culprit... since there are 25 hours today.

So... Justin Timberlake with a two-year-old song? He and Chris Stapleton apparently put on one hell of a performance. Country fans aren't often so inviting to 'outsiders' and even when they are it doesn't lead to them immediately rushing out to buy said outsider's song regardless of how country it sounds, so I'm just surprised at the immediate receptiveness. I wonder if Justin might try to capitalize on this in any way.

Chris Stapleton updates:
Album is at no. 1.
Songs: Tennessee Whiskey #2 Traveller #17 What Are You Listening To? #40 (not on his album, was released back in 2013) Whiskey and You #85 Fire Away #87 Outlaw State of Mind #102 Might As Well Get Stoned #159 Nobody To Blame #211 More of You #318 Sometimes I Cry #328 When the Stars Come Out #350 Was It 26 #402 Parachute #428 Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore #442 The Devil Named Music #561
Next week will be his biggest week in SPS and even bigger the following week!
All of his songs from his album are also in the top 600. I seriously think he can beat Eric for no. 1 on SPS but we'll see.

I hope Stapleton's sales sustain through the rest of the tracking week. He's too good and, while it probably won't go top 10, it would be awesome if Tennesse Whiskey did.
When was the last time a country song (not from Taylor Swift) was in the top 10? Before He Cheats?

I see the other is closed and no one has started a new one.
Just want to put in a plug to relabel the "New ITunes Thread" without the word "New"
The newness of this thread left me a while back ;)
