Birthday hasn't gone for adds or been performed yet and Katy just released the lyric video yesterday with relatively little fanfare. That low position makes perfect sense for a fourth single that hasn't gotten started yet. Of course, it could be a disappointment later, but right now is too soon to call it that.
For G.U.Y. however, given that it was essentially supposed to be a relaunch of Gaga's era, that is a pretty unfortunate start.

^ Birthday also seems to be rising pretty quickly, I just found it funny that both songs were so low and close to each other. Only time will tell, I suppose.
382. Katy Perry - Birthday

Multiple singles have already been released from each album, especially in Gaga's case, it is inevitable that there will be diminishing returns with each subsequent single. Gaga has had two previous single. KP has three. Gagas era is over... But P!nk recovered a failed era...Gaga can too if she can surprise us with some normality.

Lana's at #2... I think #1 is a long-shot but we'll see #2 is still amazing for her. I never thought she'd get this high.

It's just now New Music Tuesday and she'll have major frontpage exposure thanks to being #2. She's still increasing a lot and could easily get to #1.
1 Pharrell Williams - Happy (From "Despicable Me 2") 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 2 Lana Del Rey - West Coast 0.8198 0.8080 0.7734

I stand corrected.

(Ex: Katy Perry, GaGa) In Gaga's case it depends, if her sales from Monday up until the sale started, were very low, then may not see a decent increase, but it has moved handsomely up the chart today.

Bad Blood is up for 69 cents...does this mean it will reach top 50?
EDIT: never mind, I just realized it's dropping on iTunes...

"Fancy" is bobbing up and down in the 20-10 positions...I do think it will end up being a proper hit single, but I don't think it's going to break out and be a #1 smash.

It just seems wrong that the song is charted higher with a cheaper price, I'm not dictating that it's wrong for them to sell it cheaper, just that it's allowed to chart equally.
