Comments: Jason looks to easily spend his first week at the top as Canaan is stinking of a Mediabase only #1. Jason though is looking to be pretty determined to stay at the top for a while due to Broken Bow holding off Jason on CCUSA. Blake begins his ascent down a little slow as expected. Little Big Town looks to move up a notch to #4 while Brantley rounds out the Top 5. Michael Ray and Luke continue to move up as both men gear up for their album release days. Easton's spending his last week as Frankie has seen a huge week this week and looks to pass ZBB and the struggling Brad. Speaking of which Brad looks to be on the outside of the Top 10 again.
Dustin Lynch and Sam continue to move along nicely while Tomas Rhett is seeing a good week as well. Eric Church or Chris Janson looks to round out the Top 15. Brett Eldredge and Keith Urban have seen solid weeks while Maddie & Tae move a little slower but are still doing well. Jake Owen has slowed a little while Cole is looking to close in. Chase Rice, K, p Moore and Lady A have all seen slow weeks while Cam is burning thru the charts. Dan + Shay have seen a decent week and could hold, Cam off however. Old Dominion has seen a slow week while Kenny and FGL should enter the Top 30. Big & Rich has seen a decent week but are gonna get pushed back.
Meanwhile Reba continues to hang in there and Brothers Osborne plus Parmalee have seen slow weeks. Chris Young looks to pass a struggling Mickey Guyton while Jana has had a decent week herself.
I give Mo a 60% chance of entering he's had a couple decent updates the last couple of days which could be enough to sneak in.
Hunter Hayes has had am OK week while Austin really struggles and Drake White has closed the gap. Miranda has slowed down considerably. LoCash and Chase Bryant continue to slowly move while Darius has closed in. Billy continues to slowly build up. Thompson Square and Toby Keith continue to also struggle
A Thousand Horses and Dierks have had a solid week. It's been slower weeks for The Cadillac Three, Randy, and Craig. This looks to be Montgomery Gentry's last week.
Kelsea continues to make good progress before her add date. Meanwhile Lee, Ashley and Granger continue to move very little. Look for debuts from Clare Dunn and Tyler Farr. Lucy Angel might be able to get in if Steven Tyler gives out and if Aaron falls below them. If Mo doesn't re-enter then that'll make things easier for them.

I'm not going to post a full top 40 this week but I will give a couple predictions. We will see a new #1 song this week. Either Jason Aldean's "Tonight Looks Good On You" or Canaan Smith's "Love You Like That" will be the new #1. We will also see a couple new top 10's, Brad Paisley's "Crushin' It" and Frankie Ballard's "Young & Crazy". Sam Hunt may also sneak in but I believe he will have to settle for the #11 spot. Mo Pitney's "Country" will deservedly re-enter the chart somewhere in the #35 - #40 position. As far as debuts go I thhink we will see a few this week. I think 2 for sure we will see are Tyler Farr's "Withdrawals" and Alan Jackson's "Jim And Jack And Hank".

Yeah Frankie is gonna hit top 10 but like I said earlier ZBB is still pulling ahead. Also there's no way Easton goes recurrent he's not falling hard enough and I don't see Frankie,Brad, or ZBB catching him. Secondly Dustin Lynch is still comfortably ahead of Sam I think. My numbers have Sam behind around a 1000K. Tonight's gonna be close with Mo he's lost a little audience overall the last 7 days but he had a tiny spin gain should be close. Don't expect him any higher than 37 as I don't see him coming close to Jana maybe 36 if like Reba or if somehow Easton leaves. Finally I agree Tyler is gonna get in. But Clare Dunn has had a decent week and you can't rule out Lucy Angel they are in the hunt. Tim and Casey are both out. It should be close with Aaron and Steven. If all 4 go out than we should see some good entries coming in. Me, I'm pulling for Lucy Angel or Clare Dunn. Tonight's chart should be intresting

Looks like a housecleaning could be in the cards this week as the following songs are looking really week or are set on leaving
Easton Corbin Baby Be My Love Song Reba Going Out Like That (the bottom could finally give in) Austin Webb All Country On You (has to re-bullet or he's done.) Aaron Watson That Look
That should mean 4 debuts this week. I think Clare Dunn will finally get in. I'm not sure on who else though. Does David Nail get enough adds and spins to get in. Do like Jackie Lee, Kristian Bush or Ashley Clark sneak in. Does Blake's newly announced Gonna get in. What about James Otto. I do think songs from Rainey Qualley and Olivia Lane, Love & Theft probably won't get in at least not anytime soon. Same thing with Easton and Jennifer. I think the debuts based on guess would be
Clare Dunn Jackie Lee Ashley Clark and Kristian Bush
David Nail or Blake as other possibilities.

Comments.
Jason Aldean easly nab the number one spot this week. Look for Little Big Town to land at #2. Brantley moving up to #3. While Michael Ray gets his first Top 5. Canaan is on his way down. meanwhile Luke Bryan to move up another notch to number 6. As Blake continues to fall Frankie Ballard and Zac Brown Band continue to move on to the top 5 as they should get there soon. Look for Sam Hunt to pass Brad Paisley who continues to be on the outside of the top 10. Dustin remains flat but should see Top 10 soon.
Thomas Rhett and Chris Janson have both had really solid weeks while Eric Church and Brett Eldrege are still going rather slow. Keith Urban has also seen a good weekend should be right outside the top 15.
Jake Owen and Chase Rice have had a good week while Kenny Chesney has seen an even better week. Look for Maddie & Tae to get pushed out of the Top 20 as they move slowly. Kip Moore, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay move slowly. Old Dominion, Cam and FGL have seen nice weeks while Lady A really struggles this week. Big & Rich and Brothers Osborne will round out the Top 30.
Chris Young continues to make solid progress while Parmalee moves slowly. you might have noticed I have Reba Mickey Guyton out and I am currently staying behind that as Reba hasn't gained anything in audience while Mickey looks to have given up. Due to those 2 clearing out Jana Kramer should move even closer to the Top 30. Mo Pitney, Hunter Hayes and Drake White continue to move slowly. meanwhile Miranda Lambert Chase Bryant LoCash look to blast into the Top 40. Darius should get in as it's appear Austin Webb is done. A Thousand Horses and Dierks Bentley continue their very fast starts. While Randy Houser Thompson Square Toby Keith and Billy move very slowly.
Kelsea Ballerini looks to move well into the Top 50 along with Craig Campbell and Lee Brice. The Cadillac Three should also be in the Top 50 again. Tyler Farr should be just outside the Top 50. While slow movers Alan Jackson Lucy Angel and Granger Smith should move up a few notches. Clare Dunn looks to be a lock to debut. Ashley Monroe is spending her final week.
The other debuts are guesses. I'm fairly confident that Jackie Lee and Kristian Bush. Only decently with Ashley. The final spot is wide open does James Otto sneak in? Does David Nail get enough ads or does Blakes song get enough curiosity
Thats all for this week.

Top 10 only for me this week!
1. One Hell Of An Amen- Brantley Gilbert 2. Tonight Looks Good On You- Jason Aldean 3. Kiss You In The Morning- Michael Ray 4. Kick The Dust Up- Luke Bryan 5. Loving You Easy- Zac Brown Band 6. Girl Crush- Little Big Town 7. Young & Crazy- Frankie Ballard 8. Crushin' It- Brad Paisley 9. Hell Of A Night- Dustin Lynch 10. House Party- Sam Hunt
Will we see a new #1 this week? I hope so as Brantley is gaining on Jason as of right now. It will be a close race but I'm pulling for Brantley to overtake him in the end but barely. I think also we could see Dustin Lynch and Sam Hunt get their 3rd top 10's this week as I believe Blake Shelton's "Sangria" and Canaan Smith's "Love You Like That" will go recurrent. As far as debuts in the top 60 this week go I think we will at least see Blake Shelton's 4th single "Gonna" debut and maybe possibly Ronnie Dunn's "Ain't No Trucks In Texas". Those are the only 2 we could possibly see debut.

Not only that Mickey Guyton is leaving too Mo Pitney could go as he needs to get his bullet back. I wouldn't rule out David Nail, Easton , Andy Grammar, Jerrod Niemann or even Jennifer Nettles entering.

As far as LBT is concerned I don't see them peaking at #3 then just falling completely off the chart but if it does it would be a shock to me. I would love to see David Nail or Jerrod Niemann debut but the other 3 I can't see right now. I only said Blake and Ronnie but with me agreeing about Mickey I'm hoping it is David Nail as the 3rd debut. We will see.

The thing is Little Big Town is losing around 400 spins a day they could easily fall below. Mo has a positive bullet as of today but he's lost audience thru out the week. So unless he gains back he's done. Surprised you see Jackie Lee staying Broken Bow has stopped promoting his song. I think the songs I had mentioned could get in if they get enough adds.

Ok so I'm not that great at predicting the whole chart at all. I've seen things happen in the many years I've followed the Billboard Country chart. I've followed them since they started as Airplay charts in January 1990. I even have them all handwriiten down in binders by decade starting from then. Back to predictions now and all I will say is if Blake and Ronnie debut I'll be happy. As far as songs dropping from the chart I think in all reality we could have 5 or more drop off including Canaan, Blake, Mickey, Jackie and possibly Mo (I'm not giving up on this song simply because this is one of the best country songs in a long time!)

I can see 5 songs exiting the chart, Canaan, Blake, Little Big Town, Mickey Guyton, and either Aaron Watson or Jackie Lee, should help a bunch of songs reach new peaks if there's 5 who leave, plus lots of debuts.
I'd normally guess Ashley Monroe could leave as well but with her album being released I think she'll stay on.
I think we'll see Jerrod Niemann, Ronnie Dunn, Andy Grammer & Eli Young Band debut for sure, then Kristian Bush, Easton Corbin, Jennifer Nettles are the next most likely.
It'll be nice to see a few of those songs make the chart! Also I'm hoping Alan Jackson can make the top 50!

Comments:
Brantley Gilbert overcame the odds and has this #1 secured. Jason Aldean looks to move down to #2. Michael Ray or Luke Bryan should get #1 next week as they move to #3 and #4 respectively. Zac Brown Band Frankie Ballard continue to see more Top 10 conversions. Dustin Lynch has had a great week while Brad Paisley and Sam Hunt had slower weeks. I think Thomas Rhett has enough spins to knock Little Big Town off.
Keith Urban and Chris Janson have both had really good weeks while Brett Eldredge and.especially Eric Church are going slower. Kenny Chesney Save It For A Rainy Day is red hot and could land in the Top 15. Maddie & Tae and Jake Owen have also had nice weeks. Chase Rice continues to move slowly. FGL has had another good week and should move into the Top 20 while Cole Swindell should round out the Top 20.
Kip Moore continues to slowly move along while Lady A has caught another wind as Old Dominion and Dan + Shay have slowed down this week. Cam and Brothers Osborne see good progress. Big & Rich and Parmalee continue to move nicely too. It also looks like Jana is gonna pick up her 3rd top 30 hit.
Hunter Hayes has had a nice week. While Drake White moves slowly. Darius, LoCash, Miranda and Chase Bryant continue move slowly. A Thousand Horses looks to move away from a pack of songs. Kelsea, Dierks, and Steven have closed in on the slow moving Randy, Toby and Billy. The Cadilac Three and Craig see nice progress while Thompson Square has looked to flown the white flag. Now Blake Ronnie and David are locks to debut while Tyler Farr and Lee Brice move into the Top 50. Look for Jerrod Niemann Eli Young Band and Kristian Bush and Jennifer Netlles to possibly debut.

Bubbling Under:
• Jackie Lee – “Headphones” • Kacey Musgraves – “Dime Store Cowgirl” • James Otto – “Somewhere Tonight”
Going Recurrent:
• Blake Shelton's "Sangria" - #1 peak (2 weeks), 18 weeks on chart • Canaan Smith's "Love You Like That" - #1 peak, 50 weeks on • Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" - #3 peak, 32 weeks on • Mickey Guyton's "Better Than You Left Me" - #34 peak, 28 weeks on • Mo Pitney's "Country" - #35 peak, 24 weeks on
Comments:
After a massive 2-week push (insert me rolling my eyes here), Brantley Gilbert will take over the #1 spot from Jason Aldean. Michael Ray's non-event single will move up to #3, and should easily hit #1 next week before Luke inevitably takes over. Luke will settle for a +2 move for now, up to #4, and look for Zac Brown Band to jump 4 spots up to #5. Frankie Ballard is also on the move, and Dustin Lynch is another one that should see a +5 move tomorrow (moving 12-7).
Brad Paisley should set a new peak, either #9 or #8, but I can't see him getting much further. Dustin Lynch has surged ahead, and "House Party" is going to go up ahead as well. It'll be another 2-3 weeks before any songs ahead of Brad fall below him, and by then he'll be dealing with Thomas Rhett, Chris Janson, and Keith Urban. Thus, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last week for "Crushin' It". Speaking of Keith, look for "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" to vault into the top 15 (possibly another +5 here), passing Eric Church and Brett Eldredge in the process.
Maddie & Tae are set to re-pass Chase Rice, and they might be able to finish at #15, but only if they can hold off Kenny Chesney, whose "Save It For A Rainy Day" is absolutely rocketing up the chart. Kip Moore will finally return to the top 20, and he'll be joined by Cole Swindell. Rookie act Old Dominion continues its impressive start, while Lady A and Dan + Shay continue to move a bit slower. Cam will move into the top 25, and Parmalee, Chris Young, and Jana Kramer are all set to crack the top 30. Hunter Hayes should finally set a new peak of #31 after debuting at #32 ten weeks ago.
LoCash has had their best week yet, and the new Reviver promo team couldn't have asked for a softer chart. "I Love This Life" could jump as many as 7-8 spots. Drake White, Darius Rucker, and Chase Bryant have also taken advantage of the soft chart, although neither of them saw particularly big gains this past week. Miranda continues to struggle, although "Smokin' and Drinkin'" should benefit due to the recurrents.
Kelsea Ballerini should rocket into the top 40; if my projections are correct and she comes in at #37, that'd be a +11 from last week. Look for A Thousand Horses, Randy Houser, and Toby Keith to round out the top 40. Thompson Square should set a new peak, but again, that's only because 5 top 40 songs should be going recurrent. I think tomorrow could be the last appearance for "Trans Am" unless it can somehow re-bullet.
Billy Currington, Craig Campbell, Alan Jackson, Lee Brice, and Tyler Farr all continue to move really slowly. Meanwhile, Aaron Watson -- who stayed on Monday's chart despite 3 consecutive bullet-less weeks -- should blast back into the top 50, as KKBQ in Houston has put "That Look" back into heavy rotation this week, with 55 spins, up 39 from 7 days ago.
Andy Grammer & Eli Young Band should score the hot shot debut, thanks to a handful of large market stations. Jerrod Niemann, Blake Shelton, and Easton Corbin should all debut comfortably, and I've got Ronnie Dunn and David Nail rounding out the chart, although it's possible that Jackie Lee hangs on to the #60 spot, in which case David would have to wait a week to get on.

After Billboard's top 10 mistake this week here is my top 10 this week featuring 2 new top 10's again (If they would not have made the mistake there would've only been 1 new top 10 this week.
1. Kick The Dust Up- Luke Bryan 2. Kiss You In The Morning- Michael Ray 3. One Hell Of An Amen- Brantley Gilbert 4. Loving You Easy- Zac Brown Band 5. Young & Crazy- Frankie Ballard 6. Tonight Looks Good On You- Jason Aldean 7. Hell Of A Night- Dustin Lynch 8. House Party- Sam Hunt 9. Crash And Burn- Thomas Rhett (should've been in the top 10 last week) 10. Buy Me A Boat- Chris Janson
The race between Dustin Lynch and Sam Hunt will be close so they could actually flip spots. Brett Eldredge will have to wait at least one more week to claim his spot in the top 10 as well as Keith Urban. I could see them 2 entering next week maybe. Only if Brantley goes recurrent. I think the greatest gainer will be Kelsea Ballerini's song "Dibs". As far as debuts this week go I'm sure there maybe more than one but the only one I know for certain will be David Nail's "Night's On Fire".

Predictions for Mondays chart (Top 20)
1. Kiss You In The Morning- Michael Ray (Another debut single by a debut artist going #1 this year! What is the record for this in a year? Anyone know?) 2. Loving You Easy- Zac Brown Band 3. Young & Crazy- Frankie Ballard 4. Kick The Dust Up- Luke Bryan 5. House Party- Sam Hunt 6. Hell of A Night- Dustin Lynch 7. Crash And Burn- Thomas Rhett 8. One Hell of An Amen- Brantley Gilbert (If it goes recurrent, everyone moves up 1) 9. Buy Me A Boat- Chris Janson 10. Lose My Mind- Brett Eldredge 11. John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16- Keith Urban 12. Save It For A Rainy Day- Kenny Chesney 13. Like A Wrecking Ball- Eric Church 14. Fly- Maddie & Tae 15. Real Life- Jake Owen 16. Anything Goes- Florida Georgia Line 17. Gonna Wanna Tonight- Chase Rice 18. Let Me See Ya Girl- Cole Swindell 19. Nothin' Like You- Dan & Shay 20. I'm To Blame- Kip Moore
I'll probably bomb this week with my predictions! Lol. Anyways I have Brett Eldredge getting his 4th top 10 this week with "Lose My Mind". Michael Ray getting his 1st #1. This makes the 4th lead single from a debut artist to go #1 this year. A Thousand Horses, Kelsea Ballerini and Canaan Smith were the first 3. As far as debuts on the chart this week. I'm going to pick 2 for sure debuts. They are "Top Of The World" by Tim McGraw and "Strip It Down" by Luke Bryan. Possible debuts could be "Sugar by Jennifer Nettles, "Better In Boots" by Tyler Farr, and "I Am Invincible" by Cassadee Pope

Technically Canaan Smith's "Love You Like That" is considered his debut single to me as "We Got Us" didn't make the album. What I'm wondering is the record for debut lead singles from an album for a year.

Top 40 prediction time 1. Michael Ray Kiss You In The Morning 2. Zac Brown Band Loving You Easy 3. Frankie Ballard Young & Crazy 4. Sam Hunt House Party 5. Dustin Lynch Hell Of A Night 6. Luke Bryan Kick The Dust Up 7. Thomas Rhett Crash & Burn 8. Chris Janson Buy Me A Boat 9. Brantley Gilbert One Hell Of An Amen (last week) 10-11. Keith Urban John Cougar John Deere John 3:16 10-11. Brett Eldredge Lose My Mind 12-13. Eric Church Like A Wrecking Ball 12-13. Kenny Chesney Save It For A Rainy Day 14. Maddie & Tae Fly 15. Chase Rice Gonna Wanna Tonight 16-17. Florida Georgia Line Anything Goes 16-17. Jake Owen Real Life 18. Cole Swindell Lemme See Ya Girl 19. Dan + Shay Nothing Like You 20. Old Dominion Break Up With Him 21-22. Lady Antebellum Long Stretch Of Love 21-22. Kip Moore I'm To Blame 23. Cam Burning House 24. Big & Rich Run Away With You 25. Chris Young I'm Coming Over 26. Brothers Osborne Stay A Little Longer 27. Parmalee Already Calling You Mine 28. Blake Shelton Gonna 29-32. Hunter Hayes 21 29-32. Jana Kramer I Got The Boy 29-32. Luke Bryan Strip It Down [New!] 29-32. Tim McGraw Top Of The World [New!] 33. LoCash I Love This Life 34. Kelsea Ballerini Dibs 35. Miranda Lambert Smoking and Drinking 36. Darius Rucker Southern Style 37. Drake White It Feels Good 38. Chase Bryant Little Bit Of You 39. Mo Pitney Country [Last Week?] 40. Jason Aldean Gonna Know We Were Here Recurrent Song Jason Aldean Tonight Looks Good On You Peak #1. Comments: Look for Michael Ray to pick up his first #1. Let's hope a better song comes from him. Zac Brown Band will move up to #2 as they should be #1 next week and might even hold off Frankie Ballard which btw Frankie moves into the Top 3. Luke Bryan begins his accent down as Sam Hunt and Dustin each pick up their third Top 5 hit with House Party and Hell Of A Night respectively. Chris Janson, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban have all seen really solid weeks. I'm about 75% sure Brantley stays eh I like the song so I'll keep it. Brett Eldredge continues to close in for his 4th Top 10. While Eric Church is really struggling and Kenny Chesney has filled in the gap and could pass him. Maddie & Tae have seen a slow week but the girls should still move up to #14. Chase Rice continues to see really nice progress. Jake Owen meanwhile has slowed considerably while FGL continues to do well. Cole Swindell Dan + Shay and Old Dominion should round out the Top 20. Lady Antebellum is still looking nice while Kip Moore really is struggling and badly. Cam and Big & Rich inch ever closer to the Top 20. Chris Young and Brothers Osborne see nice progress while Parmalee moves a little slower. I'm not quite sure where Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan are going to debut but they should be in the Jana Kramer and Hunter Hayes neighborhood as it looks to be a 4 person fight for the #29 and #30 spots (also #28 if Brantley leaves). LoCash, Kelsea Ballerini, and Miranda Lambert have had decent weeks and should be in the Top 30 when some of those weak songs leave (Eric, Kip and maybe Big & Rich.) Darius, Drake and Chase continue to move slowly still. Mo Pitney I really think it's over he might get a grace week but I think he's done after that so no album yet sorry .indulgecountry. Finally Jason Aldean's new one Gonna Know We Here should round out The top 40. That's all for me.

Ok I know this is for chart predictions only but I've done extensive research on the topic I asked about a few posts back. What I was asking was what is the record for major label debut singles from a major label debut album that went #1 in a year? Also has to be from the Airplay era which is from January 1990 to now. After research the record is a tie right now with 4. 1991 and 2015. If Chris Janson goes to #1 with "Buy Me A Boat" and his single "Better I Don't" doesn't make his debut album then we will have a new record. Here is the 2 years so far that are tied with a record of 4. I can turn this into a thread if need be and show the singles that meet the requirement by each year. Then continue to add to them when need be.
1991 (4) Walk On Faith- Mike Reid Meet In The Middle- Diamond Rio She's In Love With The Boy- Trisha Yearwood Brand New Man- Brooks & Dunn
2015 (4) Smoke- A Thousand Horses Love Me Like You Mean It- Kelsea Ballerini Love You Like That- Canaan Smith Kiss You In The Morning- Michael Ray

CoJoFanJanson's will only count if "Cut Me Some Slack" doesn't make the record either.

Or "'Til A Woman Comes Along." That one was released in 2010, but did make his most recent EP in 2014.

Blue Bandana- Jerrod Niemann 39. Drinkin' Town With A Football Problem- Billy Currington (Finaaly cracks the top 40!) 40. Riser- Dierks Bentley
3 new top 10's in my prediction this week. Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean will all go recurrent. Chase Bryant may possibly stay in the top 40 but I'm thinking he will be on the chart still in the 41-43 range. Possible debuts this week from Cassadee Pope, Jennifer Nettles, Tyler Farr and maybe The Band Perry's new single "Live Forever". 36

CoJoFan Luke Bryan can't go recurrent since last week was his first week and under 20 weeks. Also I'm surprised you say Jennifer Nettles will enter since her label and her parted ways. Oh you might wanna apply The Band Perry since it's getting iHeartRadio deal.

Oh you might wanna apply The Band Perry since it's getting iHeartRadio deal. I doubt Jennifer will debut. The other 3 are very good possibilities. The Band Perry will debut, Tyler Farr will too more than likely, Cassadee maybe. As far as Luke goes I forgot about the rules so put him at 8. and bump everyone down. So only 2 new top 10's. Keith and Brett!
