Much better than I thought it would be based on the clips. I really love it from the bridge and past, but I think the whole thing will grow on me over time.
NOW...the wait until the first single.

Hopefully it's good! At the very least, it'll keep her profile up with the pop audience.

^^That was really good. I didn't like the studio version so much but I love that acoustic performance. That's what Taylor does best, just her and her guitar :)

Jesus, that performance was actually flawless. That acoustic version is so much better than the studio.

Taylor's nice tweet about the finale of the tour- @taylorswift13: Tonight we ended a 13 month tour. It was a beautiful trip around the world and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Thanks guys.

That performance of "Eyes Open" was amazing. Acoustic Studio version asap. Speak Now tour is over and what a success it was! Maybe next time she'll play half arenas/half stadiums. Also, the tour has revitalized her sales in Australia and New Zealand. As of this past week: 16 (20) Speak Now World Tour Live 20 (19) Speak Now - 2x Platinum 47 (49) Fearless - 5x Platinum 88 (re) Taylor Swift - Gold Safe & Sound - #38 S&S is also up to #12 on iTunes in New Zealand, as well as 20 of her other songs scattered up and down.

I knew she would be talking to her cat just by reading the title. Taylor's obsession with cats. <3

Both Eyes Open and Safe and Sound impress me. Like, not only good, but impressive. I have a feeling we have a long career of great music in store for us coming from Taylor :)

I've been saying since "Safe & Sound" debuted that it was a career highlight for Taylor. I love that sound for her. Some people may not, but I think it's brilliant.

We got some new sales numbers this week. YBWM crosses 4 million and finally an official total for "Love Story."
If anyone's interested, I've sort of been keeping track of her digital sales, but some might be higher by now. If anyone has any corrections, let me know.

I love how If This Was A Movie has sold about 300k. Flawless track. <3
It's also surprising how Sparks Fly has only sold close to 700k, and S&S is about to pass it. Considering most people thought SF was the "smash hit" of the album, these numbers are a bit underwhelming. I thought it had already passed 1 million copies sold tbh.

I was disappointed to hear that Scott Borchetta said that nothing on the new album would sound like S&S. I mean, I get not having an entire album full of folky songs like that, at least not at this point in her career. She still likes rocking out and filling up stadiums. But not even one song on the next album is going to be in that style??

"Speak Now" was certified Gold by the RIAA, so that's over 500k. "Forever and Always" was certified platinum by the RIAA, so that's over 1,000,000. "Jump Then Fall" was certified gold by the RIAA, so that's over 500k. Last week's digital tracks chart has "Ours" at 941,259 (platinum in a few weeks!); "Safe & Sound" at 735,067 (will see a big sales boost this week - look for this one to go platinum soon as well); and "Mean" at 1,545,638. Thanks for keeping track! I didn't know the numbers for her older songs.

Thanks for all those numbers! The only one I'm a little iffy on is "Forever & Always." The Billboard article as of December 2011 where I got most of her older data had the song at 675,000. I'd be surprised if it had sold 300k+ in three months. But maybe Billboard is wrong.. Do you know when the RIAA certified it platinum? Found it on the RIAA website! Billboard must have been wrong. Shocking, I know.
I will update my list with all the new numbers when I get home from work!

One possible explanation for the different numbers is that perhaps that 675,000 total is for the album version of "F&A," whilst platinum includes sales of what must be 325k+ of the piano version, making it's total over 1 million.
