These pop ladies sure are slapping their face on these weight-loss products. Fine and dandy, but, yes, new music, please. I hope the fact that she's taking her time means it will be an improvement over the last few records.
And how about the kind words for Madonna? (which started back in 2008, I guess) I'm glad these ladies are over the pettiness that was present during the "Diva-Wars" years. back in the day, we would never hear Damita say Madge was cool or that her performing would be exciting. Age and experience is making our "divas" gentler and kinder. :)

^ I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard Janet's response to Mario Lopez. :)
I really want to find out more about Nutribank -- the 'fight hunger' campaign Janet has partnered on with Nutrisystem. I'm really proud of our girl!

The Madonna question was asked by Mario Lopez on Extra. Not sure if it's on youtube yet ... I DVR'd it.

I hope the fact that she's taking her time means it will be an improvement over the last few records. These weight loss companies have a win-win situation. Pop stars who have struggles with weight get a lot of media attention, once the weight is lost and the campaigns start, it inspires millions to take care of their health. Obesity is continuously growing and many would benefit from these programs. Janet says she enjoys being a free agent and will take her time on the music. I've shared it before, but I'm ready whenever she is ready. No need to hurry!

She can take her time, specially if she's gonna come up with something on the Damita Jo level... (or something even better, like All For You..)
P.S. her talking about madonna was so funny hahah she seemed so unwilling to say anything. But deep inside I wish they were friends, so I wouldn't have to read so much B.S. from Madge stans.

I hate seeing our Janet being reduced to a corporate spokesperson for some weight loss company for fatties - it's a terrible step back for her image and totally diminishes her superstar aura.
These kinds of endorsements suit B or C level celebrities (Kirstie Alley, Valerie Bertinelli or whatever the f**k her name is, etc.) not one of the biggest Pop/R&B female stars of our time.
At least with Blackgama, the bright spot was that it was a high glam campaign and more upscale.
I dunno. Maybe I just miss the good old days of my favorite childhood divas being more famous for their music and not what crap product they're endorsing. The whole thing just seems like desperate move to get a fat check for doing absolutely nothing except shilling a product she probably doesn't even use. Are we really supposed to believe Janet Jackson eats microwaved Nutrisystem meals? Bitch please.

Coming from an artistic aspect, the goal should be to make a decent record or album, not to make new music on the same level as something already done.
And in the real world (offline that is), the opinion of stans and stan wars don't matter, they are a minority.I hate seeing our Janet being reduced to a corporate spokesperson for some weight loss company for fatties - it's a terrible step back for her image and totally diminishes her superstar aura. Are we really supposed to believe Janet Jackson eats microwaved Nutrisystem meals? Bitch please. That's a lot of venom. Sit down, drink some water, meditate, and then come back. :)Yes - fighting hunger is such a terrible step back. Janet, how could you?? You are right Mike. There are no starving, obese, over weight, or unhealthy people in the world. Janet needs to capitalize on her fame, make a perfume, a clothing line, and advertise for a fashion line or car company. She is a legendary pop superstar who needs promo for her comeback to be #1 again, because that's all that matters! ;)

She can do better. Let's not go there. "Discipline" was a MESS bew. A "great" record is a matter of opinion. I wish I could explain more, but I went out tonight and had some dranks, so just agree with me bew, you know I don't like to argue. Honey, just let Janet do her thing, she does it well and she will SLAYT IT when she serves us some music. I have faith. I have nothing more to add right now. LOVE ALL OF YOU!!
