Yesssss! Although how the heck can I get a copy of this cd since lame iTunes won't let me buy from the Canadian store >:( Pumped also for Matt Mason and Gloriana!! If only Easton's cd was sooner APRIL 24 (Canada) 1. Dirt 2. It’s Friday (Featuring Great Big Sea) 3. Underneath The Apple Trees 4. Rural Route #3 5. Canadian Girls 6. Flowers In Her Hands 7. The Sleeping Bag Song 8. That’s Your Cousin 9. Bob Marley Prelude 10. Bob Marley 11. Losing My Balance 12. Nowhere USA It pays to be Canadian! I had the pleasure of seeing him live and he was fantastic. I seriously doubt this will be as good as "Trail In Life".. but it's still one of my most anticipated albums of the year along with Easton and Jana's. Not sure if i'm a fan of "It's Friday".. just a little too different for my taste. I really hope he's not going in a new direction with this album. Some of the track list doesn't sound promising to me.

Carrie's "Blown Away" should now have no problem debuting at #1, as Colt Ford has moved his album back to June 5. [sigh of relief] ...was Colt Ford being perceived as a threat to Carrie? Most are expecting her to take the Country Albums and Billboard 200 #1. I blame not recognizing this sarcasm on how long of a day it's been for me. ;) Oh, and if any of you are a Carrie Underwood Fan Club member, every member gets a chance to listen to the whole album one week early on the official fan club website. April 24, 2012 -- it'll be played in its entirety twice that evening, so check your emails!

Speaking of Carrie, if anybody is going to CMA Fest a little early, she's playing the Opry on Tuesday, June 5th. Already got my tickets. :)

^They'll get the CD out. Usually, Amazon puts up the date they get from the label so I'm not ruling out a June 26th release, even if it's not "official" yet.
"(Kissed You) Good Night" is selling pretty well and is about to enter the top 20. I could see it having a 35-40 week chart run, even...it's behaved like that--a song with longevity.

Hmm...I really don't like what Lee did with his version of "Seven Days". WAY too over-produced. Kenny's version wasn't exactly stripped down either, but I find it to be much better. I still like Lee's version, but Kenny's is >>>

Yeah, I would have liked less production, but his voice makes up for it.

I agree--it's pretty cool. Simple, but effective. I hadn't heard any of Wade's music until "Saturday Night". I LOVED that song, and thought it could go at least top 20, but it kinda got lost in the shuffle. Plus, BNA has never really had more than 2 artists do well at the same, pretty much. So they had Kenny doing well, like usual, but were also hard at work promoting Casey James' LDCIAN and they also had Tyler Farr's "Hot Mess" coming out (not gonna go anywhere) and were laying the groundwork for Kellie Pickler's "100 Proof". I wasn't sure if Wade would get an album out after not scoring a hit, but it doesn't surprise me since he's been a 'Texas artist' for his whole career until now, and will still sell pretty well even without a hit on the national charts. "Saturday Night" hit #1 on the Texas Country chart, and I'm hopeful that since his album's gonna come out on a national label, that it will continue to give him exposure and hopefully someday (soon, please) he'll be able to get a bigger hit on national radio. I'm definitely a Wade Bowen fan, after hearing "Saturday Night" and some of his past stuff.

Is this a cover for a country album or a horror movie? Holy cow that's creepy.

Wow Carrie's album is just musical perfection. If she doesn't earn every major award between this Fall and next year, then something is wrong with the Industry that can't be repaired! This is just above top level quality music.

Glad to hear more info about ZBB's new album, but why is it their last with Atlantic?

That's...interesting. I thought the ZBB was already doing their own thing? Or do they mean that Zac is gonna leave? With the way their record deal is structured already through Zac's own label Southern Ground (radio promo from Bigger Picture Group), they already have a lot of freedom as to what they record and do.
EDIT: Just read the article. At least it doesn't sound like the band is gonna split up. Anyway, Taste of Country only wrote that article based on an article at CMTT (Country Music Tattle Tale), but the article has since been removed from the CMTT site. Not saying it's inaccurate, but it could be. Or perhaps more likely, the band/label didn't want this info out there yet.
