Top Songs Of 2011: Does This List Look Complete?

Anthony, I looked through that list you gave me to see what songs to also include. This is a loose list of what I might include. The thing is that I want to confirm these are official singles. You mentioned that you could but you didn't have time. I have shorten it from 450 songs to 85. If you can, can you confirm these are official radio singles? If not, can you give the sources you used so I may do it? I'm only including official radio singles so that would be a big help. I can also tell you I have access to All Access & RR GFA. I have cross-references the singles I had listed with those so all those are confirmed as official singles. Thank you for your help.

I'd say you have a good list going so far. Where do you get your data from? I track singles releases myself on CCMSingles' Twitter account, and gfa.radioandrecords.com/PublishGFA/. I use both sources to compile a list of songs to play in heavier rotation on my computer, sort of like a radio station. If you'd like, I may be able to piece together from my accumulated data, a list of most or all Christian singles charting in 2011. Let me know, okay?

That would work. I only use AllAccess but it doesn't always specifically state when radio singles are release. For example, it never gave explicit release dates for the songs Hold Me, Trust In Jesus, & Strong Enough To Save. You can give me that list. Here I focused on songs that did not chart on 20 TCM. If you look at the complete charts in the 20 TCM: Top Songs Of 2011 forum, you find the rest of the singles that will be on my list unless they got greater attention in 2010. Meanwhile, I'll check those websites out. Thank you.

Hey danno, I got around to compiling that list of songs today. It came out far larger than I thought. Even with making efforts to exclude every song you've mentioned above, as well as songs that charted on 20TCM, the list still came about to be about 450 songs. Now granted, not all of them may be "official" singles, as I also tracked the playlists of NRT (NewReleaseTuesday) Radio online, which sometimes plays album tracks. I have no way of separating those out with manually checking each song, and that's not something I have the time for, haha.

The date listed with each song is the week that I added the song into my data. It usually corresponds with the week the song went for adds on radio, but not always, since I occasionally fall a few weeks behind on my music updates.

That all said, I hope my compiled list helps!
