Wow, looks like in the last few days this the era really began with all this news.
Really can't wait anymore for the lead single to drop. The Crossroads will is something I'm really looking forward to as well. At least we know that won't be much longer, February 4 is pretty soon. I'm expecting the lead single to come out around that time too. Not that long at all.
I am guessing Sugar Ray is the opening act of the Fan Jam. It starts at 6pm est and the CMT Crossroads airs at 10pm est. They usually many acts performing at these events
I can't imagine the crossroads matchup is with Sugar Ray. I mean, if you want a dream Carrie matchup, the first name that comes to mind is not going to be Sugar Ray. If it is, what a missed opportunity to blow people away with her new material and her old stuff. I'm thinking the ideal matchup would be Adele. They could do both artists material with ease. Actually, at this point, anyone would be better than Sugar Ray. I'm still thinking that Sugar Ray is part of an all night lineup and Carrie is doing crossroads with a much bigger star. jmo

^^^ Thanks very much for posting that scan ! I'm getting more excited each day. Hearing that a song gave her "chills" is so intriguing since Carrie has never described her work in that way, to the best of my knowledge. I have been longing for Carrie to sing some "darker" material, not only because there is darkness in everyone's life at some point, but also because she has such an amazing gift that can convey emotion in a way that most vocalists could only dream of.
Kelly Clarkson kicked off her world tour last evening in CT, USA and seems to have incorporated Carrie's 'I Know You Won't' as of the two covers for the tour (the other being by Florence and The Machine). This is such a big compliment to Carrie !
I know this is wishful thinking, but how amazing would it be if Kelly called Carrie onstage when they both happen to be in the same city and performed 'Won't' as a duet ?
