Yeah, I haven't been able to find the CD single at any of the Walmarts near me. It finally came back in stock at Walmart.com so I just ordered it there and did the "Ship to Store" option so I wouldn't have to pay extra S&H.
The Vision Of Love is #50 on the Hot AC chart this morning. I don't know if this means CHR stations will take notice and start to play it (it may need to move higher for them to really take notice) but it's still good .
I'm wondering if RCA will send it for CHR adds the week he appears on Idol? (he will be on Idol on 4/19)

The Idol performance is bound to help, and they may be waiting for the response to decide how hard to push the song.
RCA will probably push TVOL on CHR once it takes off on HAC and looks like it will reach top 10 like they do for artists like Daughtry. This method makes sense for HAC leaning artists that are not fully established, imo. It allows them to concentrate their efforts on one format, and also doing well on a format has to be a good selling point for another format.

The music video for TVOL went up for sale on iTunes last night.
Meanwhile, TVOL got 2 spins from CHR station WIXX (Appleton, WI) yesterday. Probably just random or test spins, since no CHR adds date has been announced.

HAC stations response to the song has been so underwleming so i don't expect it to get adds on pop ,idol performance won't do much since people buy music they are only familiar with ,i hate to say this but i don't think the song is going to be a hit as we hoped although it sounds like a hit but it is a shame that it isn't getting any buzz ,the problem may come from promotion ,the truth failure on HAC , ,Kris's image or his long absence or the song itself ,Kris is an amazing singer and musician but it seems that people aren't responding to him ,may be he should change his label and management.

The Idol peformance could be a game changer. If it gets a good response, downloads will follow, and it will give weight to the label push to radio. It may be what they are waiting for.

It will be interesting to see tonight's performance on Idol. It will be full band, and from tweets yesterday, it appears there will also be a choir and/or dancers.
James Durbin got a big boost on iTunes after his Idol performance last week, so hopefully TVOL will get a similar type of boost after tonight's performance.
I'm hoping that RCA/19 will send him on an actual radio promo tour starting next week. Otherwise, the single will likely continue to struggle. Which is a shame, because it's a good song and Kris performs it really well.
Either way, the huge jumps from outside of the top 1000 prove that people don't not like him, they simply don't know he had a single out.
Oh.. my bad I was looking at the Pop chart.
I really hope this can get things going with this single, although it seems a bit lazy of the label to rely so much of the song's success on this performance.
Good performance. But who the hell thought a spinning piano was a good idea? There were moments the audience could only see the piano's back, it was really awkward

Decent performance...kinda sucks he has a hard time with the high parts...haha, but did they really put that ugly plain white hash tag on the screen? Or was it added by the video uploader? LOL I'm very embarrassed for him after that drunken taylor hicks intro.

This morning the song is #131 on the overall iTunes chart. That's a good bump, considering it was totally out of the Top 1000 prior to his Idol performance. Both his upcoming album and his debut album are on the iTunes chart -- the pre-release at #130 the debut album (KATA) at #540. I can't even remember the last time I saw KATA on the iTunes chart, so this is cool to see.
Of course these bumps will likely be short term, so now he needs the radio play to step up. Still no word on whether he's going to go out on a promo tour of stations...
I was kind of meh about his performance last night. didn't he write this song himself? why did he write those high notes he can't reach? the studio version sounds much better. It should have a good run on HAC, but I'm not so sure about pop radio.
I just checked out its HAC play, I'm kind of surprised at its very slow run so far.
Still laughing at "drunken Taylor Hicks intro". Were you serving him at the bar??? Anyway, I thought Kris did a great job and his high notes weren't that bad. Have any of y'all seen Chris Martin from Coldplay hit falsetto notes live?!
