Rumors really kick into high gear when someone is successful. Haters gon' hate. It wouldn't surprise me if they both dabble in coke and are swingers but no one here knows if it's as serious as the rumors say.

It sounds decent. This is definitely his most commercial-sounding album yet.

I can't with those snippets. All the material sounds top notch. "Give it 2 U" sticks out like a sore thumb tbh, and why is the album being released in the U.S. 2 weeks after the rest of the world gets it?

Who would have ever thought disco would make such a comeback?! So many disco songs. The singles are actually probably going to be among my least favorites judging by the snippets. Still hate "Blurred Lines".

He was definitely coked up when he appeared on Chelsea Lately a few years ago.

Wow, didn't expect the album to be so uptempo! Also, with the exception of the Motowny "The Good Life," the album isn't anywhere near as soulful as his previous ones. Anyway, my faves are "Ooo La La" and "Ain't No Hat 4 That" - the latter sounds very MJ. I read that Paula has been turning down movie roles left and right because Robin is back on drugs and she's scared to leave him alone with their son. I've read the same thing, too.

I think "Ooo La La" samples "My Feet Keep Dancing" by Chic.

What Janet song does "Give It 2 U" sound like? "Nothing else seems to matter..."

When I Think Of You?? YESSSSS.
Who is singing in Feel Good? Not Robin. LOL. Other than Blurred Lines, The Good Life saves the album. Going through the clips, I was waiting for something like that.

Don't they all become judges on those shows for money and visibility?

^^ I would believe than many artists sign up to do these shows for both of these factors; however, I seriously doubt that many of these would be so crass and cringe-worthy as to trash the show. Further, it is even more amazing to me that these words come from a grown man 10+ years in the industry who, just 1 year after the show, has experienced (arguably) his first big mainstream success. It should be noted, as obvious as it is, that he, like other artists on such shows, voluntarily signed up to be a judge, and in no way was contractually obligated to do so. I believe his behaviour on this reeks of classlessness and will be remembered by folks in the industry.....

I believe his behaviour on this reeks of classlessness and will be remembered by folks in the industry..... Robin didn't really have to say anything about it one way or another. ABC didn't have to choose him to do the show, but they did and he did a good job, and the show was reasonably successful. It's really tacky and just goes to show how some success all of a sudden can go to one's head. He comes across as ungrateful, arrogant, and pretentious by acting like it's all beneath him now. "Blurred Lines" was really successful, but the new album could end up flopping hardcore and no other single do anything like that one did and then he will need something like ABC's Duets to earn money, but of course he had to say what he said about it and they won't let him back in. It's unwise to burn your bridges like that. He forgot to be nice to those he met on the way up because he will meet them on the way down. I feel like he has set himself up for a huge fall now.

Robin gets some success and the sh!t throwing begins. He's had the same demeanor and attitude for quite some time. Where were some of ya'll in the Evolution, Something Else, Sex Therapy and Love After War threads.

Ever since Pharrell and Jimmy Iovine suggested he cut his hair to become a sex symbol, he has slowly turned into a playful ass.

way be4 Blurred Lines smashes on the world, he mentioned DUETS like that in March as I remember. It's no big deal. We all know why all these talented singers & artists signed the contract to become a jude on these shows. He's just saying the truth and when you go searching the videos that he talked abt it, he's not saying it in a cocky way. He's kinda joking around with it. and I'm actually happy that he told the truth why he did the show. yeah shooter, DUETS sucks big time

half way through, and I love it, much much more than JT's, then again, I always like Robin's singing more, so I guess I'm biased.

The album is solid. I think my favorite song right now is "Get in My Way." I'm interested to see which route they take with singles.

Ain't No Hat For That & Feel Good are both amazing! Yes, I also love GET IN MY WAY. Ooo LaLa, Ain't No Hat For That and Get In My Way, I like how Robin put these three song together, remind me of MJ's OFF THE WALL album. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The album is amazing!

He wasn't lying. This album is one uptempo after another and I love it. It goes from early 70s Disco, to 80s MJ jams, to 90s House, all the way to modern jams like Take It Easy On Me.

Apparently, "Take It Easy on Me" is now the second single.
