On the EZ Street label, they are listed as a new song in the Hot AC section of AllAccess with 'Martyrs and Poets'. Hmmm...

Gin Blossoms is probaby my all-time favorite band. This would be awesome if it's true.

I bought their Greatest Hits, and it was dull, save for about 2 songs ("Till..." and "As Long As It Matters"). Imagine my excitement at their return. I don't remember whether Alison Road was on it, but if it was, then make that 3 songs. I hated Follow You Down.

The Gins were one of my favorite bands in the 90s. I'd love to him some new music from them.

I got their first CD a few months back and it's great... well, I only listened once but all of those classic mid-90s hits! I should listen to it again!

Now that I think about it, the Gins never completely went away. Some of the members did form a band called the Gas Giants during the breakup. I wish I knew how good or bad the Gas Giants' music was.

The Gin Blossoms broke-up shortly after filming the video for their third single "As Long As It Matters" from their 1996 release "Congratulations, I'm Sorry"
They reunited on New Years Eve 2001 and within the last year have toured extensively at small venues, festivals, and universities, playing their classics as well as testing some new material, including Collider and Come Down Hard. They have been without a record label and the sole purpose for the tour was to generate money in finding a label.
I have not yet heard about "Martyrs and Poets" but I wouldn't be suprised if this is true. Word has it Gin Blossoms recently wrapped up their tour and have now been spending time in the studio recording some new material that may or may not be released in an upcoming LP or EP.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Do the GB's have a new lead singer? I listened to this new song, and he sounds completely different from the vocalist on their previous hits...
