Top 40! :) Hopefully it picks up its pace soon. This is way too good to linger. Not quick enough apparently: 33 29 HALEY REINHART Free 474 437 37 1.07 She did pick up three adds last week, but hopefully she will get more when the new add list comes out later today (or tomorrow because of the holiday). It doesn't help when her hometown station WTMX only gives it 12 plays a week, and all in the 7 to midnight slot. Hot AC PD's are complaining that there are not enough singer songwriters to fill their playlists. Well, this one fits the Hot AC format like a glove, so they better not complain if this song becomes a bust!

Haley's not really considered a singer-songwriter Which is sad, because she has co-writer credits on nearly every track on her album ("Free" being the lone exception.)

Haley's not really considered a singer-songwriter Which is sad, because she has co-writer credits on nearly every track on her album ("Free" being the lone exception.) A lot of people have co-writing credits on many of the songs of the albums without being considered "singer-songwriters". That description usually refers more to a style of music, rather than whether or not someone writes his or her own material. I would guess the PDs were probably talking more about the John Mayer/Jason Mraz/Jack Johnson type artists when saying there weren't enough singer-songwriters on the HAC chart.
