Jessie James Decker has mentioned in interviews she has a new deal but hasn’t shared what label yet. She posted on her Instagram stories today a wine glass from Warner Music Nashville...I wonder if she’s hinting? Probably. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Jessie James Decker has like... all the makings of a huge star so I'm honestly surprised that she hasn't had more success than she's had so far. Would love to see her land on WMN and get a real shot at mainstream country radio play. I admit that I didn't like her early output back when she was being forced to be a pop tart with exaggerated Christina Aguilera vocals, but her Southern Girl City Lights album from a few years ago was fantastic. If she can keep putting out stuff like that, then I'm 100% here for it.

I couldn’t find any article or her on the website at the time, but I guess it’s confirmed.

I definitely see the makings of a star, so it's nice to see her on another label that might get her there.

This is Dierks Bentley's 90's cover band that opens his live shows. I'm not sure how long this will go or if any single will be promoted but Dierks is taking a short break from his music for this side project. Hard to gauge how serious they take it though lol. Only loyal Dierks fans know of the band -- majority of country listeners/fans don't know of Hot Country Knights.

It was great watching him open for himself on tour and I could tell like 90% of the crowd didn’t know it was him. I even heard a guy say “Hey he kinda sounds like Dierks, I wonder if that’s why they’re opening?” Haha

It’s been hilarious following his social media since they appear on it from time to time! When will your faves open for yourself at your own show?

It’s been hilarious following his social media since they appear on it from time to time! When will your faves open for yourself at your own show? They have ramped up their own social media presence since the tour ended. He's been going HARD for HCK the past few months so I suspected something was in the works but wasn't expecting an actual record deal to come from it. On one hand I enjoy that Dierks is entirely confident being his own artist that he doesn't have a problem with side projects such as this and Up on the Ridge BUT on the other hand, while I "Stan" for Dierks - I don't see how this may do anything to advance his career or anything. And it's possible (I'd say probable) this is just for Dierks's own fun and sanity, which is fine - but I don't see what purpose this serves, exactly. Guess time will tell. But I do think there is much to be said for having the ability to poke fun and not take yourself too seriously - which has always been one of my favorite things about Dierks as an artist.

The long awaited news has come. I hope they go all-out pushing this girl. Southern Girl City Lights could've had 3-4 smashes from it in a totally just and fair world. She definitely has what it takes to be a star imo.

Kaleb Lee and Pryor Baird from season 14 of The Voice are now a duo, called Pryor & Lee, and have signed with Black River. Announcement should be coming tomorrow. pryorandlee.com/

Same team here that first worked “Prayed for You” by Matt Stell. RECORDS and Good Company Entertainment.

Does his departure mean Faith Hill will leave too? According to the article, Faith is still with Sony although I won’t be surprised if an announcement is coming

Wow wonder what happened? This seems sudden. I kept looking for an album release date since the first of the year. He stated the album was finished back when he was promoting his book in November. I wonder what happens to the album he recorded for Sony.

I’m wondering if this had something to do with “Way Down”, lol.

I can’t imagine Faith sticking around without him at this point. It seemed like her being in the same label was a big part in Tim’s leaving Big Machine.
Maybe he’s opening his own label?
Interesting. To see how things play out and if we ever find out what happened.

I’m wondering if this had something to do with “Way Down”, lol. I don't think that was a direct cause. Tim's radio career is nearing the end and that's the sense I've gotten for 2-3 years. Purely speculating here since I don't know for sure but this might have been just a disagreement on what Tim should do with his next record and how to treat it with radio promotion. I could see Tim trying to keep his radio career alive but I'm not sure how that will go down the road.

I wonder what happens to the album he recorded for Sony. Tim owns those recordings. His deal was under McGraw Music. Chances are because the label couldn’t commit to a big spend on promo of his music/career at this point, he will likely have to launch his own boutique label like Garth and Big & Rich did or partner with another company (BBRMG/BMG makes sense as would a return to BMLG or perhaps even an outlier like UMG).

Bob Frank Entertainment has resurrected Audium, under the new name Audium Nashville. It’ll be a distribution imprint this go around, no radio promotion. Collin Raye and Jamie O’Neal will be the new imprint’s flagship artists. New music from both in the works. All AccessAudium was a label that shuttered in 2006 with Koch as the distributor. David Lee Murphy’s top 5 hit “Loco” was on Audium in 2004.
