B should have went for the full 6 and called Latoya, Latavia, & Farrah.
No just joking (jk), nobody wants those flops.

From Wiki. I don' think there were any vocals for "Run the World: "Run The World (Girls)" "Love on Top" "Crazy in Love" "End of Time" "Baby Boy" "Bootylicious" *"Independent Women (Part 1)" *"Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" "Halo" *-Desitny's Child performed with her I don't think there was anything from "Run The World," was there? For what it's worth, Shazam lists that all of the other songs were performed and in that order, but not RTW. The opening music was RTW's dubstep intro, then she started singing LOT.

I was completely blown away. Best Superbowl performance ever, hands down. She performed CIRCLES around what Madonna did last year.

I think it was good not great and comparing Madonna at 53 to Beyonce, I still think Madonna did her think over Beyonce...just like Prince and Janet. Nothing iconic about that performance. I wish I would have seen it live. I can't believe she had them other girls there and didn't do Survivor.

The fact that some people are calling this lackluster and labeling it 'just another Beyonce performance' just goes to show how astronomically high expectations are for her - as they should be. Beyonce is in a league of her own. Lord knows if any of her peers had put on a show of that quality it would be lauded as their crowning achievement.

Madonna certainly has a reputation as one of the greatest performers of our time, so expectations were high for her, as well. Rarely does anything get universal praise- even Madonna didn't last year.

Still wasn't better than Janet and Justin...seriously, if The Nipple hadn't made its debut that night, we would talk about that one as one of the best ever.
LOVED Michelle's intro

Why do I think she would have been better had she lipped some portions?

Our time? No, maybe 20 years ago.... She thinks she's being cute. Madonna still kicks ass. I guess you have been living under a rock, cause who had the top tour of 2012, I think that was Madonna. And her tour before that, was I think a top tour as well. Meh, your opinion I guess isn't valid. Let's see if your whoever favorite singer is on the list in the next thirty years.

Yes- "our time," as in the last 30-odd years- and she showed it with the last tour that she's still one helluva performer.
Queen B's show started at like 8:09, so I don't know regular 15-minute-interval ratings won't include the whole performance. Nonetheless, at least it took place in the half-hour time frame of 8-8:30.

Why are people comparing her to Madonna and not The Who or other halftime acts?
Anyway, Beyonce's show was better in terms of the singing and dancing. Madonna's show was better as a show (i.e. a thematic arc and they way it was put together).

It's natural to compare the latest to the one that preceded it. But, it's probably true that people weren't comparing some others years. like this one

Who on this planet with access to CBS WASN'T watching the network with baited breath Sunday eve… to witness the Beyoncé extravaganza/Destiny's Child reunion!!!!
Oh, there was a football game going on too? ADORBS!!
LOLz! Nah we just kid!
Sunday's Super Bowl XLVII was a NAIL-nibbler of a game with the San Fransisco 49ers ALMOST making a crazy comeback, but in the end the Baltimore Ravens reigned supreme…
As did CBS! Sunday's game garnered the HIGHEST SUPER BOWL RATINGS in recorded history with WELL over 100 million peeps watching!
Congrats to EVERYONE involved!
And we're sure Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland helped just a teeeensy weensy bit … although, in the end, Queen B couldn't topple Madonna's record for Super Bowl halftime ratings. Beyoncé’s halftime show megashow, which occurred in the 8 – 8:30 PM ET time slot, scored a 48.2/71; that’s down from the 48.1/72 of Madonna’s 2012 halftime performance.
SO CLOSE! They are both remarkable ladies in our eyes. Screw it, let's call it even, huh?!

I just read that since the Super Bowl is being played outside next year, a half time show is not being planned.

Household ratings don't mean much these days- but if that 48.2 stood, that would be a tenth more than the 48.1. Apparently, though, the game itself was down a few million from last year- so the halftime show probably was not as high as last year, either.

There are a few not so kosher posts in here. Please remember to keep it cute. ^Hahaha Was anybody getting Illuminati vibes with the triangles and s**t? No vibes that I hadn't already gotten from Madonna's last year. In seriousness though, Beyonce has been using triangles for a while now.

NFL on outage: Don't blame Beyonce
Investigators trying to shed light on why Superdome went dark -
By Tom Watkins, CNN updated 7:25 PM EST, Mon February 4, 2013 Lights go out at the Super Bowl (CNN) -- A day after Sunday's 35-minute power outage during the Super Bowl game in New Orleans, officials were vowing to fix whatever the cause may have been, but no one was saying just what that was. "We're going to work very closely with SMG to get to the root of the problem," said Charles Rice, president of Entergy New Orleans Inc., referring to the company that manages the dome. "We both made excellent preparations for an event like this, and then the system worked the way it was supposed to work." "We've spent millions of dollars upgrading our equipment, including our electrical feeders, and we've never had this issue before," said Doug Thornton, an SMG executive who was in NFL control at the time of the incident. The interruption in service occurred in a substation that supplies the stadium with power, he said. A piece of equipment in the substation "detected some abnormalities and it did what it was supposed to do -- it opened a switch, basically a breaker, which shunted the power that we were receiving from Entergy and de-energized the building." He noted that electricians and electrical consultants were on site and pitched in immediately. A fire alarm that was hit prior to halftime appears to have had nothing to do with the outage, nor did the halftime show, Thornton said. The halftime presentation was run on generated power, "which means it was not on our power grid at all," he said. Any electrical issues identified in the probe will be addressed, he promised. "These are fixable problems," he said.

Billboard.com:
Beyonce's digital album sales jump 230%; Destiny's Child rocket more than 600% in week ending Feb. 3
Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show has predictably sent sales of her music skyrocketing.
The diva headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime festivities in New Orleans last night (Feb. 3), where she performed eight songs and reunited with Destiny's Child.
Industry sources suggest that in the week ending Feb. 3, Beyonce's digital album sales jumped by over 230%. Meanwhile, those of her group Destiny's Child soared by more than 600%. That latter increase is inordinately large as it includes sales of the trio's brand new "Love Songs" compilation, released last Tuesday. The set features one new recording, "Nuclear."
The album sales gains are also aided by discount pricing in both the iTunes and Amazon MP3 stores. The former discounted key earlier titles from Beyonce and Destiny's Child to $7.99 while the latter marked them down to between $5 and $7.99.
In terms of digital song sales, Beyonce's grew by an estimated 85% while Destiny Child's rose by over 300%.
Beyonce's biggest selling song of the week was "Halo," which closed her eight-song halftime set. The biggest Destiny's Child song of the week, according to early data, looks to be "Say My Name" (which was not part of the halftime medley). Two Destiny's Child tunes were performed at the Super Bowl: "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women (Part 1)."
The week's official Nielsen SoundScan sales figures for Beyonce and Destiny's Child will be released on Wednesday (Feb. 6). Further impact from the halftime show will be felt next week, after a full seven days' worth of sales are registered post-game.
