This type of support is not what she needs. It's gonna keep her in that state of delusion that she's seemingly in and just make everything worse for her. The backlash will be real yall, you ain't seen nothin yet.

It's being reported that management is pissed at her for not properly promoting the tour and that ticket sales are abysmal. Don't shoot the messenger .

Is she playing large arena's? I know she was really big last year but does she have the fanbase with 1 and a half cd's under her belt to sell 10,000 seats a night????

It's being rescheduled. Maybe not a bad idea + she'll be able to tour now with the second album out I'm sure! Also one of our faves, Change Your Life, just went Gold officially in the US.

Damn, can't say I'm surprised though. I guess she wasn't able to pull in arenas yet.

I have no idea why they would try to get her in arenas anyway. She would have killed a smaller scale tour (not tiny, but smaller than arenas) and it would have looked like she was in insanely high demand and selling out everywhere. Now, all I see is bad press about how embarrassing it is that she isn't selling tickets even though she probably is, just not arena amounts.

I would much rather everything be on point then a messy rushed mess tbh! Her team better be ON POINT for the entire era #2 though. No more Reclassified type of tragedies pls (from the the single choices *cough*Trouble, lack of videos due to bad scheduling *side eye*BFI, to the actual entire campaign itself etc) She's definitely still got people's attention so they just need to play their cards right this Summer.

The fact that they already have the dates lined up for the reschedule means that this has been planned for a while now. The Great Escape - Rescheduled North American tour dates:

Perfect time for a 1st and 2nd single from a new album to be popping off.

They should just cancel the plans for the tour, rename it, and tour the next album + this album.

They should just cancel the plans for the tour, rename it, and tour the next album + this album. The tour was already related to the new album anyway... What she tweeted in December when announcing it: "its actually been an amazing last few years getting to where I'm at now and i can't wait for 2015 and album 2 plus tour! Also my tour is called "The Great Escape Tour" and this name is somewhat relatable to what ill be naming Album2. Every year people doubt me and say it will be my "last" year, but as i look back i realize things only keep growing and improving for me. i just feel like the best is yet to come for me and 2014 was all about getting things in order and now its time to really have fun with it. Anyhow i hope anyone who's had a "bad" year can look at it as a year of growth for them, 2011 and 2012 were the hardest years for me... but now i look back on them and i understand that it was needed for be to get tough and get things in order. everything happens as its meant i hope if your going thru it you take it as a pre cursor to your success and happiness and push on forward. love ya! see u tonight Philly! I like the idea of me being kind of a musical escape artist for people. ^.^"

I still think those venues are too big for Iggy. Like...The Stones and Bruce Springsteen and Kings of Leon and COLDPLAY play The Garden in Boston LOL. She cannot fill that venue. She needs to do House of Blues or clubs.

It's so weird that her 2nd album era will already mark her 'comeback' in a way. It seems like the 1st half of the March 2014 - March 2015 period has been her absolute peak with the other half being exactly the opposite although technically her career has gone through tougher times in the past.

The rescheduling of the tour doesn't surprise me. It didn't seem like it was selling well and she isn't at the point of selling out arenas. Her best show I have seen was her in a small venue. It suits her best. I noticed they scrapped her Baltimore date all together and now she's only coming to DC.
I imagine the release of her second album will coincide with the tour now.

Ariana had the same trajectory. She came out with a bang and then everything just went away just as fast until she released "Problem." All it takes is the perfect first single.

Setbacks happen. Just up your game for the second era. Still here for her, she's worked hard enough for a 2nd CD.

They overshot the mark here, not to mention overestimated her reach. But didn't everyone? The backlash will be real yall, you ain't seen nothin yet. Gay-misogynist twitter already ended her career. What's left for y'all to do, kill her?

A rep for Iggy Azalea tells Billboard that "there's no truth to the rumor that there's any conflict between her and her management."
+
Following yesterday's news that Iggy Azalea will postpone her Great Escape arena tour due to production delays, the original opening acts, Nick Jonas and Tinashe, have confirmed they won't be joining the new tour line-up due to having made plans around the new dates they can’t reschedule. Both announced that they will move forward with solo live runs in the coming months - Jonas will set out on a headlining run this spring, while Tinashe will be on the road in the summertime. New opening acts for The Great Escape Tour will also be announced.

DAMMIT! I'm pretty sure that means no Nick and Tinashe either. I was so excited for this concert, now I have to wait an extra few months. Damn! Oh well...I'm holding on to my general admission seats then.

I saw her around this time last year at Irving Plaza, the same small venue Azealia sold out recently. The place was packed and this was before Fancy blew up.

Irving Plaza holds about 1,000, I'd say that's a bit small for her now, but something like Radio City Music Hall would have been great, not 15k+ arenas.

Yeah I think she would have killed a tour that focused on venues between 5K and 12K (depending on the market).
