It looks like country radio has accepted this album track with open arms. Is it the second single from "Shock'N Y'All"? After listening to the LP a few times, it seems like the logical choice for the next release.

I haven't heard it yet, but I'll listen for it.

Already over half of the stations on the panel have added this, and it looks like it is getting quite a powerful early reception. A thirteenth #1 with this is certainly plausible, then after this Toby may have to carefully decide what will be released next, as political commentary floods much of this album and one wrong move may alienate more of his fanbase like "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" did, despite getting some new listeners in compensation. (Hint: Don't release "The Taliban Song", that would upset many! ) My Prediction: #1Sincerely, Noah Eaton

(Hint: Don't release "The Taliban Song", that would upset many! ) I think that might be the funniest song i've heard in years. As for "American Soldier", #1 with a fast climb, and somewhat fast fall like the other patriotic tunes.

Hey, what the heck ever happened to Darryl Worley anyway? He had a huge #1, then his follow-up ("tennessee River Run") barely made the Top 30, now his latest "I Will Hold My Ground" hasn't even charted. I think "American Soldier" is bland and unimaginative, but #1 is certainly a likelihood. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Am I the only one that really enjoys the "Should Have Been a Cowboy" Toby Keith a lot more than the multi-platinum, uber-patriot Toby Keith? I was at an Oklahoma St football game this past weekend and they played "Should Have Been a Cowboy" (their mascot is the Cowboy) and it's just a great country song. The last TK song I really enjoyed was "How Do You Like Me Now!?"

Now he has completely sold out, and he most certainly isn't anything like a cowboy. Sincerely, Noah Eaton
