Maybe the ACM performance is Carrie and Dolly singing TBC/Jolene! I would be really shocked if that was the case, but I won't complain if that's what we get. Anything involving Dolly Parton >>

Maybe the ACM performance is Carrie and Dolly singing TBC/Jolene! God I hope not! What a train wreck that would be. Maybe she'll do LLA or WAW or CGAS or anything else but theTBC mix. I have no idea what she'll sing but whatever it is she will give it her all and sound and look exquisite. And not necessarily to please others but to please herself.

The only thing that is seems like she could sing other than SYA would be TBC. So it should be interesting to see what she'll do.

I must say Carrie Underwood would be missing out on a great opportunity to showcase See You Again at the A.C.M.s. Hopefully, the 'duet mashup' with Dolly Parton on Two Black Cadillacs/Jolene will not be a reality. A full fledged duet, yes, but not that one.

Maybe she didn't want to perform SYA on the ACMs because she's doing it on Idol tonight? I'm kinda hoping for her to showcase an album track on the ACMs rather than do TBC, unless they're doing a Dolly collab, but I don't really think the remix was even all that hyped or noticeable for them to bother capitalizing on that at all.

I still find this song to be extremely underwhelming, and wouldn't be surprised if this is Carrie's first single to miss a Top 2 placing.

I hope she will perform TBC with Dolly (without the remix, just standard TBC, or maybe acoustic)

I wonder if it's a BA/TBC medley since she has not performed either of those 2 songs at the ACMs.

Great news. Hopefully that helps her secure an Entertainer nomination at the CMAs.

You would think, though, that numbers don't lie and neither should the CMA's, but I hope they wise up and nominate her.

Tony Thomas is reporting that "See You Again" was officially sent to radio today. Yep. Here's the radio edit. I don't know exactly what's different from the album version; maybe they just shortened it a bit, but I'm about to see (or hear) if I can figure it out. ETA: Well, uh...I guess it's 8 seconds shorter? No other difference that I can find. I just think they took out one of the piano loops at the beginning. Not sure why 8 seconds is such a big deal though...are people in such a hurry these days that they need to save those 8 extra seconds?

She's come in at #42 on BB's Hot Country songs chart, and having missed last week's Mediabase chart by 13 points which translates to 2 or 3 spins, look for another top 40 debut on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart next week.

Country Airplay chart, sir! The Hot Country Songs name has been ruined...it is, of course, the wretched mongrel chart. "See You Again" got a whopping 80 adds on Mediabase today, so she could blast all the way into the Billboard top 30 by next week.

A top 30 debut would be fantastic, especially considering this is the fourth single from the album. I'm pleasantly surprised to see country radio taking a liking to this one already. :)

^I don't know if she can pull off a top 30 debut on Mediabase; I was saying she could be there on Billboard next week at this time, though. In the early weeks, a song is almost always a few spaces higher on Billboard as compared to Mediabase.
So far she's moved 60-51-42 on Billboard, but those first 2 weeks were before the song was even sent to radio, and it was sent to radio a week ago with adds date of today. She hasn't "officially" debuted on Mediabase since their chart only goes through the top 50, and she wasn't yet inside the top 50 before the cut-off at the end of the day Saturday. SYA did appear in the top 50 at Mediabase today, which means that for its first official chart next week, it'll probably debut somewhere in the 30's on MB, and might be close to or within the top 30 on BB.

'Good Girl' blew onto the Mediabase chart at #37 after two days and six hours of airplay, so this tune could certainly match or beat that number with 80 adds today, more to come on Tuesday, and 500+ more spins.

This isn't doing anything for me right now. It still has that grandiose production that I loved on the last two singles, but the lyrics and melody just sound like something some third-rate Faith Hill wannabe would've put out 13 years ago.
The lyrics are just lazy, too: "Sometimes I feel my heart is breaking / But I stay strong and I hold on cause I know / I’ll see you again".
In other words, a HUGE step back from her last two singles. I've liked all of her other singles to various extents, with "Blown Away" being the pinnacle, but this one loses me.

ive never been a fan of Carrie herself, but ive liked all her singles until now. TBC i didnt love and it peaked at #4? thats not good for a Carrie song right? SYA is my least favorite Carrie single ever! this will have a lower peak then 4 i bet.
