"Thinking About You" Written by: Calvin Harris and Ayah Marar Produced by: Calvin Harris "Thinking About You" is Calvin Harris's eighth overall (ninth if "We Found Love" is counted) single from his third studio album 18 Months released on October 30. It features vocals from Ayah Marar and it's expected to be the follow-up US single after "I Need Your Love" going to be the fifth US (sixth if the aforementioned is counted again) single to be released on October 8, according to AllAccess, bitches! Apparently, this is going to be the follow-up single from 18 Months after Vincent Haycock and Ayah Marar have discussed via Twitter a possible video concept/shooting from the track 1. If this comes true, he's coming for his ninth UK Top 10 hit from 18 Months! Listen to the track here. 1 Let's remember Vincent Haycock directed "Flashback", the third single off Calvin Harris's Ready for the Weekend where he and Ayah Marar appear on it as well and the latter gives the uncredited vocals on the chorus.

This still remains as my favorite from 18 Months. Ayah's vocals and Calvin's production are just perfection on this track.

This has to be the 8th single. <3 I love this one too!! One of the local stations has been playing this in their mixshows since late last year. I love the Panic City remix.

This and "Feel So Close" remain my two favorites on the album. It brings back pre-"We Found Love" Calvin much better than his recent hits.

I need this as a single it's my fav from 18 Months. It's classic Calvin Harris perfection.

What I like about this is that it doesn't sound much like a Calvin Harris track. His previous singles from 18 months sounded similar in terms of the productions but each had its own personality. I like "Thinking About You" better than "I Need Your Love".

I disagree. This definitely sounds like a Calvin Harris track it just dosen't sound like majority of the tracks from 18 Months. This sounds similar to the material on his last album.

It's finally confirmed! Next (and last) single from 18 Months. Sad "Iron" is not going to have an official release at all :'( Anyway, there aren't any further details about it. However, "Thinking About You" is going to be remixed by Laidback Luke, Firebeatz, Manufactured Superstars, Mauricio Colella, Jesse Rose and Michael Braun in a major remix package coming soon :)

YES! β’ It has been added on the C List of BBC Radio 1 Playlist and has been picked as the Record of the Week by Greg James.

According to the information below, it seems that "Thinking About You" will be released in the US as the next single from 18 Months. I was expecting for "We'll Be Coming Back", but I have to be honest with myself that it was going to be a really long shot. Anyway, it looks like a female featured domination is happening for Calvin Harris's last releases ;)

Sorry for the fifth post in a row (I really wish someone posts here too!), but... the video for "Thinking About You" is coming out this Monday on VEVO! Check a (kind of) NSFW teaser here (begins at 0:55 if you want to skip Britney Spears, Passion Pit and AlunaGeorge). PS. iTunes peaks have been updated two posts before! :)

What an unnecessary video. It's plural because there are two! Also, both versions are so much better than the "Drinking From the Bottle" video in my opinion. I think you have to deal with Vince + Calvin team

Oh, I only watched one of them Can't remember which. I agree that it's much better than the "Drinking from the Bottle" video, but that's really not saying much And I think "Drinking" was much more suited to a video like this than "Thinking About You" is. I think this should have had a simple, summery video, maybe like those 2 seconds the girls were on the boat before they started the pointless fight or whatever it was. And I don't think being age-restricted will help this either.

I think this should have had a simple, summery video, maybe like those 2 seconds the girls were on the boat before they started the pointless fight or whatever it was. And I don't think being age-restricted will help this either. β’ I think you have seen the Explicit because it was the first to come out. If you saw boobs at around 1:00, that's the one! β’ I agree with you. The "Drinking From the Bottle" theme in the video was more suited than this one. I still don't know which could be the plot (sometimes, I think there isn't one), but it intrigues me to find out a possible one. However, I assumed all the stories have (sort of) connections between them. β’ I think the word simple is not allowed in a Vince Haycock directed video, considering that he has done most of the videos from the 18 Months era and none of them have been like that. β’ You're right. The fact that both versions have been age-restricted is not going to help a lot and I highly doubt there's going to be a third one (Well, I didn't even consider that there would be a second version). β’ I forgot to say that Ayah Marar looks so amazing! :)

What an unnecessary video. THIS. Not that I am offended by any of what I saw, but most if not all of the nudiy, sexual content, faux-lesbian kissing, and fighting seemed to serve absolutely no purpose nor did it really go with the lyrics and theme of the song. Ayah's facial expressions when she is tied up on the pirate boat and singing really sum up my disappointment and my "what is happening here?" thoughts which came up over and over. It's like they tried put anything and everything into it to make it as controversial as possible. What a wasted opportunity to make a fun, thoughtful video.

I assume there is one, but I think it's according how anyone could interpret it. Debuts at #28 in the UK! And Jameela seems to love it <3 I think the right term should be jump(s) because it was at #49 last week in the UK. Anyway, thanks for updating it! :) Also, good to see Jameela Jamil loves it. BTW, it enters at #67 in the Australia Singles Chart.
The OP has been updated with the single cover and the (flagged!) videos.
